why not play sandbox and disable dying from a bite?

I prefer the antibodies mod, that lets you survive the infection via the sheer force of your immune system, but pretty much turns you off from doing anything for the duration it takes to heal. It also allows you to set it up so every time you get infected surviving is more difficult so it's not a free get out of jail card.

Theres two cures i can think of. One is a toxic cleaning product, and the other is me frantically running away from my friends while they try and shoot me cause i have a bite on my arm.

Should have a tourniquette,otherwise you should pass out and bleed out.

They're right though, the thing is that you're never going to get to play this game in a finished state at this pace, I bought the game back in 2014. I absolutely loved the times I had with the game but it's really annoying how they show whatever they're working on and getting you hyped for the next update, then it finally arrives 5 years later and STILL doesn't have the features they showed 7 years prior. Oh, and you gotta wait another year before you can play that new update with your friends. Animations took FOREVER, and the fire overhaul STILL hasn't arrived. We age, the devs included, they started this project back in 2011. That's the year they killed Bin Laden and Japan got hit by that tsunami that took out a nuclear reactor. Next year the game will have been in development longer than even Duke Nukem Forever, it's literally going to win a world record for development time. I can't wait 20 years for a game to be finished. I'm 10 years older now from when I bought the game, I didn't expect to have to wait so long for the promised features. By the time NPCs are in, I won't have time to play games anymore because I'll very likely have kids.

Very hardcore lol, thats a good mod, but personally i preffer the "They Knew" mod

This goes well with the prosthetics mod, it's a solution but it obviously has its drawbacks
