I swore off buying more metazoo from ebay till I wasn't in the negative, but I got the $11.50 wubby promo. The other one had a dent in it right between the creatures legs that he's riding on. So honestly, despite mine being off centre, I think I got the better card, especially considering the price. Surprised someone paid $500 for the crafter medal seeing as I was very open about paying $200 for it from the same guy.

I enjoyed the game and played a lot of cryptid clash, so I'm happy I was able to get 5x5 1st edition Cryptid Nation release event boxes when they were being fire sold. I think my total was $90 for 25 of those (75 packs plus the starter decks - $1.20 per pack 🤯 ). Steal of a deal, imo.

As a supporter of MetaZoo (played the game and collected), the whole part of selling our claimed skateboards (yes, it was our property) was a bad move on the new owners. Yes, the attorney was notified and he ignored it. This is also after learning that the old cards are not playable. Can’t see the new MetaZoo doing well if they keep burning their remaining supporters.

on the nightfall spell books, you indicated they had 14 lots of 5 at 31.49 each. Then you indicated a total of 70 spell books (14 x 5 = 70). You then, I believe incorrectly, multiplied 70 x 31.49 and came to the total of 2,204.30. I think what you meant to do was multiply 14 x 31.49, which would equal 440.86. Sure, it’s only a difference of like 1,500, but still, it being the first item, made me skeptical of every other number you put out. All good, just wanted to clarify. Happy New Year, brother!

My favorite metazoo memory of 2024 was trading a PSA 10 Gardevoir and Sylveon alt art from unbroken bonds for a psa 8 Sample Fresno Nightcrawlers that I regraded with BGS and got a 9. As for 2025, Metazoo is coming back, so the sky is the limit. Lets see what comes together

I know you catch on this at the end, but you're not including cost of ship, ebay fees, warehouse fees, and whatever commission evend is getting. I would imagine that number would be cut in half at best. We can only guess. They're honestly probably making ~$3 profit per booster box.

Also, what explanation is needed? MetaTwo bought the product. They don’t need the product. They should sell the product and recoup part of their 2m+ investment instead of spending more money on warehouses to store the unwanted product. From a business standpoint, it’s simple.

You have to also remember there's storage costs and employee wages to pay too. The 1 million square feet evend warehouse isn't free :P They've definitely made crazy money either way. As for the uncut sheet, I'd probably pay $150 to $175 max honestly. It's a pretty bland looking sheet to be honest.

It's funny that you pention PCG and no-one using it, because I'm going to be grading my cards with PCG as they have it available locally in Australia. So it makes it so much easier and cheaper for me. Plus their team actually talk to me about if they can/will grade stuff that's not on record, like my serial error jersey devil token card. Should be noted, rudy has 69% ownership of their US operations. Not the other ones around the world. For the stuff selling in Australia, you have to remember, we have like 1/14th of the US population. So we have a LOT less people bidding. Hell, a lot of our auctioned items wind up being bought by american resellers. lol
