Let us know what kind of book publishing company you'd like to run :)

@ well done for focusing on your novel; it’s definitely important to have a least one book in your name in order to run a book publishing company. Once this has been done, you can then proceed with the vision you have in mind for helping your desired target audience ☺️

Hello Darnella; thanks very much for watching our video and congratulations on your two books! When did you publish them? Regarding marketing, we fully understand. Have you considered having a book launch, whether virtually or in-person as a start? Regarding the theme of your books, they sound very good, especially for our young millennials. We recently had our first book series which ended in September 2024 on 'The Becoming Woman' which is our 7th book published last year, following on our 8th book on 'The Cost of Intentional Marriage' published this year and just recently completed our book launch for that. Regarding paid advertising, would you consider first of all using your social media platforms as a start, or building up a mailing list for your audience? It could be that your audience may want to see your work or content prior to engaging with your books; that way, it builds authenticity and trust. Hello Rasdakai; thanks for tuning into our video and firstly, congratulations on your book - as an alternative, would you consider doing a pre-order option for your readers to get the book before releasing it on your end?

@@authenticworth I'm considering it for sure. My sister is an author and she thinks getting people to pre-order the book will boost it in the algorithm once the book is released. The downside will be that I'd be delaying the book even longer lol. It's not a bad idea though

@@rasdakai Hello; thanks for the feedback and so lovely your sister is an author too! What is the name of her book? Regarding the algorithms, that is a good idea, and you could promote the book on your website if you have one. Aside from Amazon, is there any other platform or site you will be looking to promote your book? Pre-orders are good if you are looking to build an authentic audience and keep them staying with you :)

@@authenticworth I'll likely promote on social media in general via different videos talking about the book and promote those videos. As far as selling the book elsewhere I'm not sure. I'm only familiar with Amazon lol. . She has a book releasing soon called Dirty Pleasures.

@@rasdakai Hey there, and social media are good platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram for books; regarding the videos, they sound good for promotional purposes or you can get someone who is writing in the similar genre like your book to collaborate or do Instagram Lives which brings new audiences through; and well done on your sister's book and hope it goes well for her and the readers :)

It is so important that as writers, we believe in what we desire to share with the world and not depend on tools or systems, but use our authentic experiences to help shape the process of writing. We also believe AI could be valuable for short descriptions for workshops and seminars, but a book does take time and needs to be taken into thoughtful consideration, otherwise, investing in a book coach or mentor can be a great alternative in the support of a writer. Have you experienced any aspiring writers that have used AI to write their book so far?

@@authenticworth I haven't met any writers who have used it to write a whole book. But I'm sure at some point I will. I've only met folks who have used it for brainstorming ideas or for enhanced descriptions supporting what they've already written.

@@keishagbwrites Hello Keisha; yes I believe there will be an influx of authors who may potentially want to use AI to assist in writing their books for ease and balancing work-life together, but brainstorming ideas for enhanced description or short presentations have been useful for small businesses or group work. I wonder if there will be any form of analytical data where we can see the comparatives between authors writing a book from a place of authenticity vs using AI to assist in their book writing journey.
