Thanks for your help ❤
You are very welcome, thanks for the view and your comment.
Thank you for doing these videos I'm learning a lot so far. Can't wait until you do the other video. Mine is running also on Aux Heat, fan blowing on the outside unit all the time.
Thank you for the comment, that almost sounds like a bad relay/contactor. Does it heat in the normal heat mode?
@@SmithFarmShenanigans Yes
@@SmithFarmShenanigans what about the reversing valve switch on top. So even though the fan is blowing the relay could be bad.
@ I did comment on your other video also
@@MonemonAmericasFavorite so how to check is to put it on normal heat mode, take the cover off the unit outside, and watch the relay, you will notice it kick in, then have someone set the temp below what it is in your home, you should hear and see the relay kick back out, if that works next thing is to check your capacitor, the reversing valve shouldn’t affect your fan running all the time. Also a simple check to is to make sure the thermostat is set to fan auto and not set to fan on
Thank you for the how-to. I already spent $99 for a tech to come out and not fix anything.. I think he thinks nothings wrong except coils frozen and all will work when they thaw. Well they thawed and it still doesn't work. I tried a different thermostat and have same problem. I can't get cooling to work either. Heat and cool both just stay in delay on thermostat. The only thing working is emergency heat. Also someone bypassed my defrost board. Good grief. 😂
@@susandavis5833 thanks for the comment, i hate you are having trouble , watch my other videos and hopefully they will contain something to help you, it may be a defaulted board or may a HPS
I have a carrier Ch14nbo36-B My unit outside keeps running nonstop the thermostat is on Aux Heat. I looked outside the small copper lines that run into the house where the rubber boot is I see oil and it's oil on the grass and line ( Yes it's cold in the house) I don't know where to start to check first with this pump. No frost on the condenser, the fan runs like crazy
Oh man ok that good information, first off thanks for your comment but unfortunately its sounds like you have a leak in your lines or worse you compressor is going out or has gone out. I wish there was a cheaper way to fix your unit but gona have to have someone check your freon levels, now u can do this part your self, you will need a set of gauges which you can get from harbor freight, maybe ill do a video on that today for you and get it uploaded.
Also if its a bad compressor, sometimes you can find one used and have someone install just the unit for you, that will save you a bundle
@ Yes could you do a video
@@MonemonAmericasFavorite ill try my best when i get home in a couple hours, then ill try to upload it this evening.
Thank you. I'm hoping that switch may be my problem. Looks easy enough to change. I'll ohm it though and see if it's bad
Exactly work through it, you will find the problem.
Great video
@@BlacHaze78 thanks for the comment
Thanks for the video! Very informative.
Thanks so much for the comment.
Green is fan not ground, good video though thanks for taking the time
Thanks for your comment.
Thank you to share your video
You are welcome, thank you for your comment
Pretty sure the low voltage on hvac equipment is alternating current, not dc. Appreciate the video.
Yes you are correct, did I say Dc? It is AC, thanks for the comment and the correction
Thanks!
@@Courage-de3np thanks for your comment.
Very helpful. I really like that you identified the problem but still walked through it. Everyones situation is different so knowing what its expected to look like is very helpful.
Thanks so much for the comment.

@@lloydhines4639 you are very welcome, thanks for your comment.

I wish I had known about this before. Thank you
@lvisitor99543 thanks for your comment, sorry it wasnt able to help you though.
Problems with fake batteries is that they are a huge FIRE HAZARD and can burn ur house down. U couldn’t pay me to own one and keep it in my garage!
Thank you for your comment, that’s what this video is about, however I have been doing endurance testing on these ones and will post a video when I’m finished, no fires yet thank god.
Christmas Eve and our heat pump decided to stop working. Gotta laugh or lose it ya know 😂. I will say this though-you have such a great teaching voice! So glad your page came up when I did a search.
@teltn84 thank you so much, i really appreciate it, im sorry to hear it went out on you hopefully you get it fixed and its not to costly, merry Christmas.
@ a super nice repair guy came and helped us. He gave me a lot to go on with/o trying to take me to the cleaners ❤️. And thankfully it warmed up 👏🏻👏🏻.
@ thats great news man.
Same here with me.what was the problem with yours.
it was a 6Ah vs a 4Ah though
@@garyw8824 yes but tbh the weight showed less than what a 4ah weighs. Thanks for your comment.
this absolute madman just freehand cut a tree lol
@@Unown_B hahah thanks so much for your comment
I would be really interested in the long term test
@@raydzi thank you for your comment, I am currently working on that and will post a video all about it so stay tuned.
I'm willing to bet the life won't be anything near what a brand name would give. I've used some off brand batteries before and they don't do bad, when they're new. If you just use them every now and then I don't think they're bad for the price but if you use it every day just pay the extra for a good one or else you're just gonna be mad. Lol
@@poolhalljunkie9 I think we are all wondering that as well but the weight of each cell is encouraging , stayed tuned for the results.
Thanks for the extensive tests. Could you share the link where you get those?
Thank you, I wanted a real world test. Thanks for the comment as well, ill share the link, remember im in no way affiliated with the seller and cant guarantee your results will be as good as mine, they shoud be. Also remember I haven’t finished the long term tests yet but for less than $20 I see it as a win, good luck. Check out FRAWALL’s shop on TikTok! vt.tiktok.com/ZTYq55h7r/?page=TikTokShop
G is not ground on the thermostat it’s your fan relay.
@@tphvac87 yeah im aware, it was a simple misspoke, i do that a lot, I’m old lol. Thanks for your comment
@ yeah I’m getting old too didn’t mean to be critical just an observation my friend.
@@tphvac87 yeah i know, you are good, when i see a black wire my brain automatically goes to ground wire, lol i didn’t use to be that way
Thanks bro, save me some money doing my own diagnosis
You are welcome, thats what this channel is all about. Thanks for the comment.
G is for the air handler and the black wire is a extra in case you have a broken wire. You also need to cheak you pressure to make sure your HPS is working on both heat and cold so reversing works and dose not get stuck !!
Yes thats correct, but a lot of diy folks don’t have gauges so thats why I suggested running it cool mode and then switch it over to heat mode to make sure its working, thanks for your comment
Looks like They switched yellow to black cause they found or thought there was a short in that wire.
@@jm23mvp yeah maybe so, was my thought as well, thanks for the comment
G fan blower but good video.

Like to hear more on that magnet on reversing valve
@@dumpsterjerry3577 yeah , if the reverseing valve is sticking you can use a strong magnet to slide it back and forth without having to cut it out, also you can buy heat pump oil to out in on you own, it comes in a can like freon and you just add it to your heat pump. Thanks for the comment
Thanks man. I never new the hps and lps have a shrader, Im 6 months into my HVAC job and all they will teach me is guilt for not being able to sell overpriced add-ons during preventative maintenance calls.
@@unabridgeddick6645 yeah its a shame we have gotten so bad in society where people just want to make a buck of each other. Thanks for the comment.
G- is not ground,it is blower motor inside unit (air-handler.
My unit wont come on,,can you help me ?? therm says aux heat,,but fan wont come on,,wife heard 2 "pops" last night
You gon get Sumbody killed!!
@@walterdennis7023 this unit was not entirely wired correctly, the main thing is to match the wires inside with the wires outside, thanks so much for the comment
@@mrcoz1764 it hard to say but I would look at the air handler breakers
@@SmithFarmShenanigans I found the problem,,,It turned out to be the "Fan" control board that "Melted"

😂 your garage looks like mine. Your a working man for sure! I spent an entire day organizing my garage. I couldn't get to anything easily. I had to move 10 things to get to one😂. So anyway after I finished I realized what I really did was move shiot from one spot to another and I still can't get to 99% of things I need easily. At least now it's organized chaos😂. Good video I'm working with an old 1987 Mercury Black Max 150 hp v6. Restoring an old CC. I'd break my back on that thing. Stay safe and great job !
Thx so much for the watch and comment, I tell my family that I am going to organize my garage soon, and they all laugh at me, lol I will get around to it.
