Initiation with the e break is alright. its after that you wanna use it less as possible. as it might be counted as correction if you are planning on doing competition. it will affect your line and you will not be as smooth as your chaser wont expect you to hit the handbreak and cause collision.

Here's a progression session challenge for you - link the entire downhill route of Kami Road, then practice linking the backroad uphill that takes you right near the top, and then try and link the entire map as a loop using those two routes. I find it to be a very well rounded map for different speeds/elevations/banked turns/off camber sections. Enjoy!

CarX games have always struggled with their sound design due to the smaller Dev teams and budgets, still a massive improvement made with CarX Street from what you've shown - always wondered how they make engine sounds in the first place as I doubt they can afford to record them directly irl, my guess is they make them with synth software and algorithms to attenuate according to throttle input?

coming from g920 here and upgraded to a moza r5 the g920 your have to throw your wheel to counter like literally but with the dd in most cases you dont have the to throw and when you do its much less compared to the logitech

I'm guessing u have a g920 or a g29 those wheels are good for a beginner but i would recommend getting a dd wheel

Very harsh 'off-track' resetting there, think it would make sense to add time penalties rather than reset to standstill, or at least a slight rolling start. Loved the NASCAR wallride, shame the game didn't. My vote for emulator gameplay is Wip3out, and Motocross Madness 2 (make sure to go out of bounds on a freeride map for a hilarious Easter egg)

You're totally right about the fact there shouldn't be immovable gates and the lack of camera settings to reduce shake, I assume the latter is an attempt to balance the difficulty in competitive races. I play on controller and I've always been able to gradually accelerate with the trigger without changing any adjustments on settings in every forza game, including forza motorsport. Even in Fortnite I can graduate the amount of throttle when I use a car. Maybe your controller' dead zone is changed

It seems you're new to forza because this is a thing that happens in all titles, gotta set your deadzones properly as it seems they're set too tight.
