Thanks! Yes, Messor does compress and not lose the low end. One of these days I’ll try and see how it behaves as a stereo mastering compressor on a full mixdown.

One take multitrack-recording via a Roland Studio Capture into Reason. Mixing and mastering were done also in Reason.

Thank you for your feedback :) The OP1 outputs MIDI via its USB socket so you need an interface to get it synced to eurorack. Yarns is one of the earlier MIDI-to-CV modules and has only the classic MIDI connectors so I have an old iConnectMIDI interface to get everything working. The signal chain in this patch is the following: OP1 to iConnectMIDI (USB cable) >> Yarns (classic MIDI cable) >> gate and CV patch cables to Vector Wave. There are a several USB-MIDI to CV converter modules out there like the Expert Sleepers FH-2 which make the standalone USB-MIDI interface redundant. If you have one of these you can connect the OP-1 or other external sequencers directly to your eurorack. I got the OP-1 and the iConnectMIDI years beforeI I moved towards eurorack so I needed a module to get these devices connected to my eurorack, hence I ended up with Yarns. At one point I may upgrade to the Expert Sleepers module though as it’d simplify the commections. Hope this helps. Thanks again and take care!

In this patch the VW went into the Make Noise Mimeophon, hence the reverberation and delay. The VW doesn’t have on board fx so you may want to spice its amazing sounds according to taste. Hope this helps.

In this patch OP-1 was running in Endless sequencer mode which has several odd step layouts + skips and these skips will become pauses during the sequence; OP-1 is connected to iConnectMIDI which is connected to Yarns which converts MIDI into CV + sends out trigs based on the incoming clock; Yarns is also sending clock to Pam’s NWO which is sending trigs to several modules and which stops everytime there’s a skip, then restarts when the Endless seq on the OP-1 triggers another step. This is kind of a creative limitation I guess :) Thanks again!
