In August 2009 I left from 96W (my hotel) I reached the canal, it was my last day in NY, I saw the bridge at the end and I thought why not try to get there, and I got there on foot! ! I didn't have google maps at the time, I returned by subway crossing an iron bridge onto a wide road. I have a wonderful memory of that absolutely unplanned walk, thank you for letting me relive it. That was my first trip, since then I have traveled a lot but this will always remain a special place because I have conquered it!! My feet were devastated from those days of walking!! I remember the grove and the tennis courts before arriving and the lighthouse!! Beautiful!!

One of the things I miss most about Seattle. I don't spend much time wandering about but the Arboretum is a place I always enjoyed visiting. I spent more time sneaking a couple beers after work in Volunteer Park on sunny days though : )

Thank you so very much for sharing this wonderful tour. Im a little late seeing it but. Love seeing a different universe. Wasn't Waukesha the backdrop for the Grumpy Old Men movies?? Or am i mistaken 😮 . Just thought I'd share thT Grand Jury Duty in Massachusetts is like 3 months of Disney. If i could, id definitely visit Waukesha at some point in my life . Watching the Brooks trial. Citizens seem to be decent. I pray for their continued Healing. Again thank you for sharing this

I really love all your Seattle driving and walking videos. I spent 4 years in Seattle for high school as an international student, and Seattle is the most beautiful and comfortable city I’ve ever lived, even feel way better than my hometown. Putting your videos on TV with full screen somehow makes me feel I’m actually there. Definitely returning to that city soon with my family. Can’t imagine how time flies that my high school life is actually 14 years ago already, and it all just feels like yesterday. Once again thanks for your videos, love from Taiwan 😊❤

Dang rent is HIGH there. You definitely can't just work at Walmart and get by. Wow. No way a working-class person with one household income could survive there. I was born and raised there, and I can't ever move back because it's too expensive.

Waukesha is my hometown also. I didn't recognize much of anything except when you turned and I saw "Discount Liquor" and the Fox River. When you were by the hospital, I think that was Dopp Park next to it which is the area I grew up in. Downtown is totally renovated but I thought I saw the "Pix" sign which would really be strange because that closed down (as a movie theater) it may have opened up as something else. Thanks for the memories.

I missed going to the Scooters for great cheeseburgers when I lived near here.

This is excellent. Thank you for this. I lived at the Nelson apartments in 2007, after they had just built it new. That's way north from where you walked of course, but I enjoyed reliving Seattle's greenwood area. I would live there again if it were feasible to get into a house, which I have now in idaho. I love the greenery there. Just dont want to return to apt living again. Couldn't deal with the neighbor situation. ( many of the peeps I lived next to or on top of didn't say much, being from european countries like netherland, but passive aggressively banged the ceiling to screw up my sleep)

I’m a traveling doordash driver from Wisconsin I’ve dashed in Colorado,California, Oregon, idaho, and Washington and outta all the cities I’ve ever worked Waukesha Wisconsin was the worst the state of Wisconsin in general has horrible tippers. That’s what I think of when I think of Waukesha. It’s actually so bad I took screenshots of my orders and I’m gonna make a RUclips channel highlighting this 😂
