Thanks a lot for the info, it was very informative. Definitely learned some new tricks that I will incorporate into my videos!
Thank you so much!
Hey Sir. Thanks a lot for the video. Love it. I will be trying this on my next video. Thanks a lot for helping me understand this process. I have never used CapCut but will start doing it. Seems it has more functions than IMovies. Once again thanks. I have to save it in my watch next to have it as a reference.
You are very welcome. I appreciate the feedback and I know once you get started you will want to keep it up!

Nice video. Love your editing process and props to the wife for getting you the new gimbal. Mine got me the Pocket 3 for my birthday and sent me on my path for creating videos. lol.
Nice! I love this thing. It makes the process much easier. Props to your wife too. And thank you for watching till the end!
Hey great video tutorial. Quick question how do you do the screen recording that has your face in the circle. Thanks in advance
@@felixpagan2365 thanks. I use Screenrecord by Omni for Mac. I then use the active track on the OP3 and record myself while I’m editing. Of course I record audio on both devices at the same time so the videos can be synced in post. Then I use CapCut to put a circle mask over my face and then reposition it. I’ll tell you what. I’ll make a video tutorial on how I do that!
@ thanks a lot for answer. Always wanted to know how to do to. Thanks a lot.
@@felixpagan2365 I recorded a video of this process for you. On how I do it anyway

@@georgjo thanks for the tip!
I just learned a ton from you today! Thank you so very much. I just started my channel in October as I was on my way to italy. I just bought the OP3 when I got back in November and I'm trying to figure it all out. It's super easy for me on my android, but I wanted to learn it on my laptop. I also purchased epidemic sound but have zero clue how to bring it to the laptop into capcut. Do you know how? Maybe you could do a video on that???😊 I'm a 65 single solo traveler who is tech challenged with a splash of ADHD.... LOL😂. You are doing an excellent job. Thank you, and keep up the good work. I saved your video so I could watch it several times... the one about capcut and how to get your footage from OP3 to your laptop. It helped a lot. Thanks again!!!❤🎉❤
@@The7AcreWood thank you so much! What kind of machine are you using? PC or Mac?

Thank you for making this a really smooth walk-through. Quick question: Why does CapCut create two folders for my MacBook Pro? One of them is called JianyingPro and the other is CapCut. Should this be any security concern?

I am new to this content creation. And I just got my OP3 3days ago and using capcut mobile. Thanks for the video.
Congrats. I know you will love it! The OP3 has incredible footage with that 1” sensor and the built in gimbal. CapCut makes editing a breeze!
Jealous man. Love the walnut built ins, I've been wanting to do something similar in my office as I have the walnut flooring and have been trying to go for a dark themed aesthetic centered around the walnut theme
Thanks. Walnut is legit!
awesome setup Brandon, one note from it is make it more concise. You have a lot of A roll footage(you speaking) and less B roll(what you're talking about). I can tell you are passionate about making this video and there are great elements! Also repetitive music choice throw some changes in there switch it up! this is criticism yes but its meant to be constructive. key takeaways: make video shorter and more concise add more B roll of what you are talking about change the music every so often(also check your audio balancing) really excited to see your next video you got this!
Thanks. I appreciate the feedback.
any tips n fixing lag. when I import from dji to capcut all my vids are skipping.. I honored the performance pop up in capcut and changed the performance setting but I still have that video lag
Ok. First step is to go to the settings gear at the tip right of the CapCut startup page. Hit settings, then select performance. Then scroll down to proxy and tic the box which says “Turn it on to edit smoothly and faster without losing video quality”. Once that is ticked then save. So that you playback will be of lower resolution but it will be full resolution at the export.
@ thank you I will try this out !!
Excellent! Thx so much!
You're welcome!

I never comment on videos. This one is extremely informative for editing my Osmo Pocket 3 footage in CapCut. Working on editing on my Z Fold 5 so I can upload from anywhere I don't have my laptop. Just gained a new subscriber!

@@SixFootKing thank you so much! Do you use the Osmo Pocket 3?
@@brandonmaestas2334 Absolutely! I love it! I've been using it for shorts but am currently editing my first long form on it!
How do you pause videos on the dji pocket 3 ?
Like in the video edit? Or in the camera?
@ on the camera but I believe there is no pause feature so I guess you have to stitch videos together in editing maybe in future they will do a software update
@@stevenzipkin3757 Are you talking about pausing the record or playback?
@ I’m talking about a pause button on the camera
@@stevenzipkin3757 Gotcha. Yes there is no pause feature when you are recording. It is best to record in short bursts and edit them together in Capcut. Even when you record for longer periods of time (like talking head clips) the files are automatically broken into 15 minute increments. There is a pause button when viewing your videos on the play back on device. Sometimes if I know I am going to slow and speed up a single video clip, I will record at 60 frames per second so that when I edit the footage that can help mitigate possible jerky footage.
That tripod is awesome. Where did you get that? Thanks for such great videos.
That is from Insta360. It is their carbon fiber selfie stick. It works perfect for light cameras like a 360 camera (which it was made for). It is also a perfect match for the Osmo Pocket 3 because of how light it is. It will not work for a heavier traditional camera though. Here: store.insta360.com/product/Extended_Edition_Selfie_Stick?c=1344&from=accessory And here are the legs: store.insta360.com/product/all_purpose_tripod?c=851&from=accessory Thank you for the support. Brandon, this is so clearly explained that I've learned more in a short time from your tutorial than from many of the so-called 'gurus' of Osmo Pocket 3. Well done -- and many thanks for helping out two retired newbies.

First off love your video bro and how in depth you are. I got dj osmo pocket 3 and capcut and a beginner to messing around with this program. My problem is my footage looks good on the camera but when I upload it to my computer it is laggy. I shot in 4k30 fps. Any advice or troubleshooting expertise in that field?
@@MattyP91 thanks! I really really appreciate it! What computer do you have? You may need to change the play back settings to low quality so it can process faster as you edit. Also make sure that your FPS on your video matches the FPS on your camera. Brandonmaestas1987@gmail.com. Email me and I will help any way I can.
Buenos datos. Gracias!
Cool review, nice work!
Thanks! I really appreciate it.
I have been shooting video since the 80s mainly weddings and events. I am now 78 years old and I am learning how to use the Osmo pocket three along with CapCut. I am happy. I found your channel because I think it will help me make better use my time and equipment. I am not sure what I want to shoot at this point, but I will be tuning into your channel from time to time. Keep up the good work.
Thank you @ElectricRick! I really appreciate it. I’m sure that you will be just fine with your expertise and experience. I am happy to help along the way. I would say you have a lot to offer! I may advise to shoot what you are currently passionate about and interested in. Something that you will not get tired of talking about. Your videos will find thier audience! I’m making my next video right now and this has made my day.
Do you color grade ?
I don’t color grade so much because I’m still learning. The only grading I do is adjusting the exposure and brittleness between clips. I only do that for RUclips and not social media. For social media the videos may do well but have a short shelf life. I definitely pour more effort into RUclips because this is my personal brand and these videos are forever!
Can you edit out the outro that says capcut on your videos?
Yes. You can export the video to your cell phone. Open the video in your camera roll and trim off the end and save!
I'm new to osmo pocket 3 and haven't use capcut on PC which is why I'm here and this video Helps me a lot. I will greatly appreciate if you can upload more videos about using more editing tools and some tips & tricks that you can use on capcut to make videos more legitimate. Subscribed ;) Thanks mate!
