Costa Rica Silver-throated Tanagers are brightly-colored, tropical birds found from Costa Rica to Ecuador. Three subspecies are recognized: i. frantzii - Costa Rica and western Panama. i. oresbia - west-central Panama. i. icterocephala - Darién region of eastern Panama to west Colombia and extreme north-west Peru.

Tiny, greenish warbler that breeds in boreal forest. Breeding males have lime-green back, pale blue-gray head, and dingy whitish underparts. Females and immatures generally show more yellow overall, but still dull.

Yellow Warbler is adorable, great spotting of the Waxwing nest, Swallow nests so neat to see . . . and was that Jaws rushing back and forth under the water amongst the lily pads? Great video!

Amazing footage of an eagle
Wow he is beautiful, good videography. He is quite similar to our Allen's hummingbirds in southern California, who are also in Selasphorus (Selasphorus sasin sendentarius here, they don't migrate) though the coloring is a bit darker here I think. Allen's must be the closest, Rufous hummingbirds are also Selasphorus but don't have the green back like Allen's and Scintillant. Adult male Allen's have a loud buzz while flying, does this guy have something similar?
They seems smaller than the Rufous we use to see, also not feed at the feeders.
