@@406findings was a weird looking jasper. Duck creek today wasn’t too bad. Still needing to go east ha. Saw a few people find some amazing agates in Eastern Montana over the weekend

@The_elkhorn_miner same here! I hear they go way far into the Canyon like 4 to six miles in to get the big stuff. But who knows.

@@406findings yeah I’m sure they do. Haven’t gone that far into it. Just mainly the spot you sent, thinking on trying further in too! I was blown away but those big ones ha. Those polished Harmon agate specimens were just as gorgeous too that I saw there.

@The_elkhorn_miner the Montana Agate Specimens are amazing! Tom Harmon has a rock shop in savage Montana just before sidney. There are so many agates surrounding the shop it's crazy.

@@406findings yes they are! A rare collection I bet! Sure hundreds ha. I’m still also needing to go by Sidney, miles city too to agate search.

@@406findings yeah I need to find a different area! I’d like to go further east. Trying to find a decent kayak before winter so can check more islands

@The_elkhorn_miner the agates out east are nice 👌 I was looking at getting a good raft to island hop. I got a kayak, and I can't carry enough rock on it because it becomes unstable 😅

@@406findings yeah I’m still in search of a 8-10lb or better one like some find out by miles city, Forsyth, Sidney area. Then on the islands that are only accessible by boat, raft, kayak. For me, it’s sort of getting old finding small ones. Haha want to find one, like ones that get a nice cut and polish

Thanks! That one was Really close to the boat ramp at duck creek. Had to use a pick to get it out from underneath a big rock. I believe I have found 50 treasure state agates at duck creek across the river when it’s low and right where the gravel with vehicles going over it
