In December 2023, my brother passed away aged 37, after a 34 month battle against brain cancer. Outside of work, gaming was his passion and FF has always been at the top of his list. I used 5 music pieces from different FF games during his funeral service. This long version I used at the start while people came in. It's been 8 months now since the funeral and I find myself coming back here regularly. Everytime I totally cry my eyes out, but he was my only sibling and these FF music pieces somehow became a connection to him.

I played this on the Pc port released later than the original. One friend pf mine told me ‘Knowing you, you will cry, HARD’. I didn’t believe him, but… when Sephirot killed Aerith I swear I couln’t refrain myself from crying and yelling at the screen. It hit hard.. now, I’ll be able to hear this masterpiece from the Distant Worlds orchestra and I couldn’t be happier.

She truly lived her life to the fullest. Every new experience she went all out and enjoy it to the fullest from Kalm to Gongaga to Junon. Thanks Square Enix for this adventure, and thank you Aerith!

Aerith is also my favorite female character in Final Fantasy VII Remake too! I just love her so much! Her carefree personality and kindness towards others is amazing too! It's one of the many things that I love about her character too!💖 She's always so cheerful about everything and she reminds me of myself because my personality is similar to hers too in some ways. Like her cheerfulness and her kindness towards others is just like me too.
