Actually, Charlley, we have examples of dancers kicking, Krystal Wilkerson interacted with a dancer named Tater who did a move coined the "Tater Kick"

@@TheGrundigg Blues is classified as Black Folk music, so the dances that were created to be dance to it are Black Folk Dance. I learned the rudiments of the dance when I was a child. So yes, it's our dance. What I'm simply saying is that ANY artist should understand and practice the basic defining elements of their art until they master it.

I don't know if my previous reply posted, but the gist of it was that as a 73 year old Black American Man I have suffered from Racism and I doubt you can say the same. I've been kicked, punched, spit on and forced to sit in poorly maintained segregated areas. Those conditions are what caused the creation of the Blues.
