Icon of the seas horn battle
What sucks about icon of the seas is that the only good place to hear the horn is on the suite deck which the horn is right above and you only have access to that area if you have a suite….. not. Also the music on pool deck was always loud.

I’m on Independence and we just did a short horn battle with Icon leaving CoCo Cay today. I was very disappointed with Icons horn. Thought they would for sure beat us but Indy definitely won!

I bet that music was annoying after a while. Nice video though!
It was, the music was loud on the main pool deck most of the times and every sail away they had it going and honestly takes away from the moment. When I got the email review I complained about the music. And I hate the suite deck basically blocks the sound of the horn on the main pool deck so that was another complaint I have.

They should strap an Excel class horn on Star of the seas like, man, you can barely hear icons horn.
I know!!! It made me so mad and the fact that the suite deck is the only place you can hear it and only people with a suite have access to that spot. Very disappointing

Kind of the same thing happened to me a couple of days ago we were at the dock heading into Mexico and 2 carnival ships and 1 of the carnival ships we were on we're honking at each other

Freedom is smaller, why does it have lower pitch?
Because it’s an older vessel.
I don’t think just because it’s older, that would be the case. Disney magic is 25 years old and the Disney Dream which is 13, had a much lower pitch to it. It depends on the horn. Not the age.

haven't watched a good horn battle in a long time
It was so awesome experiencing this! The captain had his kids on the bridge they made an announcement after we left hoping we enjoyed our day at coco cay and his son called himself the mini captain

No, it’s the Oasis class ship. It’s not recorded in the Navigator of the Seas.
@@mtsproduction29 Yeah it is, the Oasis class ships in the front have a solarium that's covered by glass. Also the golf course on the voyager plus Freedom class ships are now in the front of the ship on deck 13 so this is navigator of the seas. Also note the green hell pad with people standing on it, on Oasis class ships it's more orange and wider and you can't stand on it. So this is Navigator of the seas.

Yeah. I definitely agree that it sounds like an oasis class ship now. I liked the previous horn better. It had a deeper sound.

Freedom of the seas and liberty of the seas are sister ships that have the same horn. I also have a horn battle posted between freedom and liberty of the seas
