you disabled comments on your other reel but its a seed shrimp
Thank you! Looks like I accidentally set it to kids mode and that automatically disables the comments smh
nice setup
@@aquatropicalnature1698 Thanks!
Awesome video .. great tanks 🙂
@@caironhorn2656 Thank you ☺️
Honestly- Enzo sometimes disgusts me and makes me say "AGH I WANT TO SQUISH YOU OUT OF CUTENESS" at The same time 😭😭
Bummer, she doesn't look like she's gonna make it😢
@@userjoe4870 sadly she did not 😢
with time the java moss will attach itself to the liner
the neon tetras look really good
First for comment lol. Budgie is searching for the best bits haha
I like your shrimp breeding set up! It might be worth looking into getting some mini corys as well as some high end guppies as well. You could have cherries, guppies and corys breeding in the same tank at the same time, giving you max return on your space. You would need to keep them densely planted of course. Guppy grass, foxtail, etc. If you put rarer stem plants or red root floaters in the tank you could possibly sell some plants as well making for a single tank growing four sellable items. Guppies, cherries, corys, and plants.
@@SJLamb-te3dt Great ideas, thank you!
Throw a few hyacinth and water lettuce and they'll grow real quick and provide some shade. Super easy and cheap
how long did it take for the pond to clear once you installed the bog filter?
About a week
I have a 40 gallon community tank how many leaves would be ideal ?
Honestly, however many you want. Keep in mind the more that you have the more it could raise your nitrates and also release tannins in your water tinting the color of it. If you are going for a blackwater tank look then use more if not just use a few.
How long should i boil them for ?
I do 5-10 minutes.
I've head good luck with those WhisperIQ filters, you might have just gotten unlucky.
I had one neon tetra eat the fins off all 5 others. I gave up on them. If yours have lasted more than a week, you're doing better than me! lol
That's absolutely terrible! So sorry to hear that. I am watching mine closely. Yesterday they seemed to be more peaceful and weren't chasing each other as much so it makes me wonder if it is just breeding behavior. I'll have to look closer and see if it's males chasing females that will give me a better idea of what's happening.
zoomed turtle clean 15!!!! its a small canister filter that fits a lot of media and is only $30-$40. I'm using one on my high tech 10gal and it works perfectly. to avoid tiny shrimplets getting sucked up i like to use a piece of mesh folded around the intake and ziptied
@@elune43749 Thank you, I will check it out! 😊
very cool🪳
where did you get the mushroom print? and pineapple print? How absorbent are they? how often do you need to clean out and change them? I like that they are thin and they look like a material that the hay and poops don't stick to. I have 14 guinea pigs but the girls are all situated with their liners, Im trying to build up the stash of liners for my boys tho.
Hello! There are links listed in the description for the liners but I will list them for you here as well. The pineapple and mushroom liners are the same type but I got the biggest one in the mushroom print. I like them so far and they are absorbent. The poops don't stick to them. You have your hands full with 14 piggies! I am sure they are loads of fun ☺ I am keeping these liners in rotation and will keep updating if I find other liners that I like better. @@lumiespets Thank you so much for responding! I realised the info was in the description after I sent that comment in, I'm sorry about that. I am a person that when something comes to mind I have to write it out or I will forget. And sometimes it can be very important, and other times it's not as important like todays.
@@fitzguineavision All good! I'm the same way lol
Nice setup. I'd just mention that the bad smelling bacteria is anaerobic bacteria which grows where you have low oxygen. Its not ideal The beneficial stuff has a slight smell but you can tell the difference
Thank you for telling me this!
Whhhyyyyyy
exactly my question
Why not?
Are you in Vegas
Arizona
Uhhhh neon tettras will eat baby cherry shrimps if they see them and are known to gang up on cherry shrimp😅 i would say either get more plants and hiding spots or move the shrimps back 😅
Hopes this helps
Also the corydoras wont bother adults unless they are smaller than there mouths and will eat a baby shrimp if one passes them
Thank you for letting me know! I might move the pregnant mamas back to the shrimp tank.
i remember seeing these bugs on my trash. so im assuming they like to dwelve in rotting/trashy areas
Sounds like roaches tbh
They don't look like hemiptera.
i think its mosquito
Silverfish I think
This is a question for reddit
The little bugs look like roaches
So whats in the pond? You might just hose those little creeps right on in and feed the fishos
Gross
I'm not sure about the swarm but the 'worm thing' you see in the water may be a mosquito larva wiggling while it breathes or molts. The left side looks like the butt/breathing part while the right side stays mostly submerged, likely the head of it.
Real 😭😭
Would be better to use finer mesh and hot glue it. All you need is dry dog food, oranges and bananas, Ive been breeding them successfully for years for my tarantulas. Also, keep em warm around 80/85.
Thank you for the tips!
:((
Why the sad face?
Cuties!! 🥺🥹🦐🦐🦐
So cute! Congrats
Thank you! I love them ❤️🦐
I miss her sm 😢
Same 😭
I made quarantine tank for my plants yesterday just to catch all the freebies.
9 bucks for duckweed is robbery. I would not want it on my pond because it will always cover the whole surface making it impossible to look into the pond, see fish and submerged plants. I spent months to get rid of it when it accidentially came into my aquarium.
I'm the only one who causes duckweed to die when I put it in the aquarium
Naw, I cant get it to grow either. It just disintegrates lol..
Maybe you turn on the light too long.
I have grow it in my pond, it grows because the pond doesnt get light too much
@@tomcheng1191 However I can't buy it anymore because in my state it is listed as an alien species and invasive like other plants, like guppy grass
We always use modern aquarium and it's always really alive and never had a plant rinse that full of life lol
It threw me off but it's also fascinating lol
Use Frogbit or Salvinia instead.
I have tried Frogbit once before and is disintegrated, I think it's because my water flow was too high. I love the look of Frogbit and might have to try it again in the near future.
The midas touch of plants. Good luck.
I mean thats duck weed lol you find it all over, grab it and use it and its gunna have bugs in it. Prob springtails which are good bugs for plants but def research more before you buy
this video is so planariaphobic
They're freaky! But it was pretty interesting to see one and be able to examine it up close 🥴
@@lumiespets idk how you resisted cutting them and creating an army to conquer at least your block first then city then the world maybe
@@God-ec8ni Haha that's pure nightmare fuel right there
I can go outside here in Oregon and grab some from the canal they are everywhere here and every time I take some out it’s covered in parasites.
For real lol
plz don't put duckweed in your pond In starting it will be good but once it settles down then you will have to remove it every day otherwise your fishes will lack oxygen and sunlight
Couldnt even if i tried. Every time i put duckweed in my pond the goldfish just eat it all, lol
scuds.. good fish food
Most dog dewormers like Panacure C will get rid of planaria, without killing fish or plants. Make sure the one you get contains Fenbendazole as an active ingredient. It is designed, of course, for dogs and to rid the canine of tapeworms, roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms. Luckily for the aquarium hobbyist, it will kill planaria flatworms, detritous worms, and possibly snails. Use about 1 gram of the fenbendazole per 100 gallons of water.
Thank you! I will have to try that out.
did you not research before you bought it?
Not enough 😅
