Try playing without the backing track. Try playing lead and rhythm at the same time. I think you'll sound better. The backing track is distracting.

I have a maple version of this and it is the worst acoustic I have ever bought. Sounded great in the shop but it is a dead guitar, zero sparkle, muddy as hell. Only time it sounds good is that first few minutes when you restring and it sounds brightish. I gave it to a mate, its not worth selling.

The overall sound is in need of much improvement as it is unfocused. The backing track is murky and that’s because it’s all going through the same one Mic. The backing track needs to be mixed separate to the guitar and the Mic on the guitar needs a better production on it. Don’t know what effects you’re using, but they’re not helping much. You’re playing is really good though, so it’s a shame that it’s hampered by poor production values. Hope this helps…
