Introducing Harriet Parry, an artist who reinterprets famous paintings in her own way and creates flower arrangements. She is using her background in art to her advantage to create this new style of flower arrangement. The idea of expressing a painting with flowers is refreshing. It shows that flowers are not just decorative elements, but can serve as powerful communication tools. It makes me feel good to see these works in a season like these when it's hard to see flowers.

역사적으로 우크라이나는 폴란드가 강할 때(16세기 폴란드 리투아니아 연합왕국)는 폴란드 길잡이를 하면서 러시아를 침략하는 폴란드 군을 이끌었었고, 프랑스가 강할 때는 나폴레옹군대를 모스크바로 길 안내를 했었고, 히틀러가 침공했을 때도 나찌 군대를 환영하고 유대인 색출과 학살에 앞장섰었습니다. 이러한 역사적 사실을 모르고 우크라이나를 착하고 힘없는 약자로만 여긴다면 두 강도가 싸우는데 끼어드는 한심한 짓이 됩니다. 실제로 우크라이나 정부는 북한과 긴밀한 관계를 지속했으며 국제적 제재를 받고 있는 북한 군대에 필요한 군수품과 장비와 부속품을 우크라이나에게서 조달하였습니다. 부패하고 탐욕스런 우크라이나 군 지휘부는 북한에게 미사일을 비롯한 고급기술과 장비를 팔아먹었던 것이었습니다. 우크라이나 에서 열리는 무기 전시회에 북한쪽 인사가 빠짐없이 등장하였던 것은 바로 그런 이유입니다. 러시아로서는 역사적으로 항상 우크라이나가 친서방 노선을 취하면 침략을 당했던 분명한 역사가 있습니다. 그래서 우크라이나를 어떻게해서든지 친러시아쪽으로 끌어들이거나 포섭하려고 하는 것입니다.
