The best bass fishing is always in the off limits areas in Massachusetts. Sneak into the dam on the Sudbury res in Southborough for ten pound largemouths. North Watuppa for 100 fish from shore. Fresh pond in Cambridge( find the holes in the fence, wear cammo) for ten pound largies. The Cambridge res in Waltham /Lincoln (wear cammo, hide from orange pick ups) gives up lots of 6 to 8 pounders. I knew a guy that would take a canoe on the Sudbury res and his picture album full 6 to 12 pound largies and 4 and 6 pound smallies is mind blowing. This video looks like the a typical day at the dam in Southborough. Nice job.

Good fish but try to keep the net in the water when you land them and try not to toss them back like bass...
