Samsara Blues Experiment - Glorious Daze
i thought that was rod stewart...no-one sounds similar...
Still a classic in 2025.......!
Cry baby cry Anyone listening in 2025? 😊
❤
❤️
This song paved the way for 70's rock. Exquisitely innovative.
This is original Gothic music! I just saw their name on a poster for a show with Lou Reed and the Tots (I'm not kidding!!) But then the next sign says _The Velvet Underground._ One thing I like about this song is that it's so mellow. The '70s were all about being mellow.
A tune full of emotion, and you can tell still after. all these years later, it shines through.
2024?
That was one of my favourite songs back in the day 😊😊😊
Anyone here December 2024? ❤
I knew this by heart, played it till it was smooth.
Rods finest moment shame he’s become a Cabaret act he was class back then
Rod Stewart best song
Brilliant song, but I think it's older than 1972 and Rod Stewart was a session musician rather than a guest before he hit the big time 🙂
Great!
Before he ruined his voice by undergoing sex with blondes.
Reminds me of when people sang with their soul?? 2024/5 Be lucky to find it now
I remember buying the album for my brother in law just before he married my sister.
Rods a fanny turn coat English man who thinks he’s Scottish, twat 😅😅😅
Listening 2024.classic song great band.suits rods voice..great times.64 now.
There is an even better version of this track. on the Rod Stewart 71-98 Sessions set. Try it
Good old Rod!
Of course I had this record when it came out
Makes me think of my Dad
One of the greatest songs of the era. Well before Rod became a pathetic mouthpiece and advocate of the harmful armful! Beautiful.
Brilliant then and brilliant now
An incredible record and what a vocal performance.
I thought his song sweet lady Mary was / is best
The Thunder is even better, Danny Bowes brings the song to life.
Always think of this song when I hear Aerosmith's "Dream On". Definitely an inspiration. 😄
First impression was " the singer sounds like Rod Stewart" I then looked up the band on wiki only to find out IT IS ROD STEWART 😂😂
Rod talks about the song in a short interview on his RUclips channel. The guitar break is frenzied.
one of the greatest rock records i ever heard rod best singing wy not
Always loved this song, still got the original single
This is real music .
Yes, I am.
YEAH WE CERTAINLY ARE LIVING IN A BROKEN DREAM HERE IN 2024.....WTF IS THIS PLACE IF NOT A PRISON....!
Your not wrong.
Hear Hear....as we say in the U.K
I actually bought the single. First love unrequited!!! It spoke to 15yo me.
Same here!
not sure if it was before my 15th or not, but sometime in 72 my parents bought a Fidelity Stereo Nine, 3 watts per channel, with speakers covered in blue vinyl. In a broken dream was my first record, and a little over a year later went to see my first gig, The Faces at the Queens Hall in Leeds.
Me too!! 🙋🏻♂️
2024
Vor zig Jahren gehört und es so geliebt!! Heute 2024 ist es nicht anders
I met Rod Stewart at a David Hockney art exhibition in the West End, circa 1972, about the same time he recorded this down St Anne's Court, at Trident Studios, inbetween Wardour and Dean St. My wife worked at WB's in Greek St and I worked at WEA in New Oxford St. The Marquee, 100 Club, Ronnie Scott's, The Round House, "nothin' but... ", Hyde Park, The Oval, Knebworth... One of my Grandkids asked me if I have ever heard of a group called Led zLeplin... 🤬
Well? Have you? 🤭
Yes..
Rod Stewart???
Can ya read?
Pásku ešte mám.
Toto bola jedna z prvých nahrávok na môj magnetofón. Nahral som to z rádia z Pozor zákruta. Vôbec som nevedel, že to spieva Rod Stewart.
Incredible on every level!
Happenings A Hundred Years Into The Future.
Never stop listening to classic rock songs, nothing beats it
Murdered this song on the turntable after a bad break up
