EPIC Bedroom Makeover | Fixing the cardinal sin of design | DIY Feature Wall | Part 1

This video marks the beginning of my bedroom transformation! I DIY’d some curtains from Ikea, and created a feature wall with some picture frame moulding and a wall mural behind the bed (with peel and stick wallpaper). If you have any questions about anything I did, feel free to leave me a comment and I’ll get back to you! Part 2 coming soon… 😊
Love. Wallpaper is nice idea. Very cohesive
Thanks so much, I’m glad you liked it! 😊💕

Hi! Glad you enjoyed it! ☺️
You guys did a great job! Where is the wall lamp from please?
Thank you so much! I bought the lamp from Temple & Webster. I'm not sure where you are located, but if you are outside of Australia, you could try searching the name of the lamp in the link. I hope that helps! www.templeandwebster.com.au/Pear-George-Nelson-Replica-Wall-Sconce-ASOL1365.html

Thank you so much! 🥰❤️
Just found your channel, and I like it. I have a question. Wouldn’t it be easier to put on the trim after the wallpaper?
Thank you so much! I actually overthought this question several times when I was deciding how I should do it 😂 But yes, I think if the trim pieces were being nailed to the wall, it would be easier to do wallpaper first. But since the walls were made of brick, and I was using the mounting tape, I wasn’t confident that the vertical trim pieces would stay stuck to the wallpaper (i think the weight of it might just tear down the wallpaper), so I decided to do trim first to stick them directly to the wall 😊
Whew … that was a lot of work! Well done!! 😊🩷
It certainly was! I think the first 5 minutes of video took us about 10 days of work in real life 😅 Thanks for watching! 💕
Lovvveee this! We have wood trim in our home too that I adore, but a refresh would be great haha. The wood trim looks great in your mum's room :) Awesome job overall. Keen to see more!!
Thank you so much, hope it gave you some inspiration! ☺️💕

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it❤️
I wanted to see what the rug looked like and I would have done some subtle colour with thr couch😍
True! I forgot to get a close up of the rug! The lumbar cushion has a little bit of brown in it but it doesnt show up too well on camera. Which colours would you consider putting on the couch? 😍
I love the grey sofa in Combo with the white and with the wood. Its so cozy and not boring💖. Thank you from Germany🙋♀
Thank you so much, I’m glad you like it! ☺️💖
Your pendant lights are my favorite! I love the whole room! Actually, my favourite part was watching you and your mom work together. Makes me miss my mom so much. New subscriber. ❤
Aw thank you so much for your comment, so lovely! My mum is amazing, and you’ll see more of her in future videos! We are working on her bedroom makeover now ❤️
Looks good!
Thank you! ☺️
the back wall is too big for the cabinet, the cabinet looks too small for that wall and it disappieres in the wall. Also i would hang something above it because of the height of the room ,otherwise furniture is all lined up in the same height and cut the wall. id hang the mirror above to give break the lines of the furniture. but the wall is too empty looking with that little cabinet.
Its a good point, thanks 😊 I actually went back on a later day to mount the mirror on the wall, I didn’t have the right stuff with me on the day of filming 😅
Hi I was just wondering what colour you used for the armchairs?
The fabric is called Nappa Linen 😊
It looks great!
Thank you so much, I'm glad you like it! ☺️
Nice work! ❤
Thank you so much! ❤️
OK, I enjoyed it. I think you bought some really great pieces to give them a beautiful living room. I’ve been a decorator and designer for about 20 years in a large city. My only comment is that the cabinet you have the round one or curved one on the back wall needs to be moved over to the left further. And then move the white lamp that’s on the same side as the black lamp to the other side and just switch those so the white lamp on the right and the vase and stuff on the left after you move the cabinet over to the left some and that way you can pull the tree over a little bit more And you won’t have a gaping spot on the left and everything push too far to the right it looks really heavy on the right because it’s all being blocked by the chairs and everything else when you’ve got all that space to push the cabinet to the left and have a lamp on each side of the room And then the tree out further and it won’t make that wall with the chairs look so pushed together and then like nothing on the left. I hope that makes sense. It just needs to be pushed over to the left quite a bit and then the Lamps shouldn’t be on the same side That way you have one on each side of the room and it works out better. But I love the pieces you got I love the armchairs and I love the tones that you kept together of the other furniture the wood furniture. I just need to see that to the left quite a bit and everything else shift to the Left That white lamp on the right side you don’t want two lamps on the same side of the room, the white lamp and then the black floor lamp. Do you want them separated and there’s too much room and wall where you could push it to the left and that tree could come out a little bit more and then you don’t look so heavy on the left on the right please just that OK I’ll be quiet now. You did a great job you really did🙏🙏🙏❣️😉🫢❤️❣️
Awe, thank you so much for taking the time to write me some feedback! I actually completely agree, it’s an issue i secretly had with the room myself🤣 Next time I visit my brother I might reshuffle some things 😇 thank you again! ❤️
Hi ellen.please add the links of the furniture you used for this transformation
Hi Shrawani! I’ve just added links of the furniture I used to the description of the video. Hope that helps! 😊
