@@HAL9007 Jenny Gardner was with Della Mae. She was married to the freaked out Tuttle banjo player with Golden Highway now. Whose Jenny with now. Della May changed all around except for Ludiker.
@@danmiller4725 "Tell Me Baby Why You Been Gone So Long" done by Della Mae with Jenni Lyn Gardner (2011) and with Maddie (2022). You can see they bring different strengths. Jenni is a singer, Maddie not so much. I think they are comparable on their instrument and both are very fun to watch -- very intense -- especially Maddie who only smiles when she's happy with her solo. Saw them in 2021 with Maddie at The Hamilton in DC. When I saw them last November, at The Birchmere, they had some young guy as a "guest" mandolinist. Not sure what to expect this week if they will have a mandolinist. Maybe AJ Lee or Sierra Hull will pop in for a visit? Haha. Did you know Molly Tuttle's bassist/harmonizer extraordinaire Shelby Means used to play with Della Mae? Back when Jenni Lyn was there. May have been my favorite DM lineup.
