I really admire all of the effort you put into making this video. It’s nice and cinematic. Can’t get myself to do the trailer thing. I’m not enjoying the trip until I’m on the bike, but I’m retired, so I have all the time I need. I’m in Nebraska. It gets cold here, so I’m always home from before Thanksgiving until sometime in late February. There have been a few times getting home in November, and heading south in February, that a warm van would have been pretty nice for a day or two. :)

Nice video. I really admire you guys who ride older custom Harleys. The tools, spare parts, and knowledge, needed to keep them running I’m sure is part of the joy you get from riding them. My tool kit consists of, tire gauge, chain lube, a couple of adjustable wrenches, a multi tool, and the large wrenches needed to remove the wheels. I look at older Harley’s all the time, but the most complicated bike repair I’ve ever attempted is fork seals, so probably best I keep riding my 2007 Honda Shadow. My camping gear is similar to yours, but I do have a sleeping pad, and a large cup, spoon, and small canister stove. Mostly just to heat up soup or beans, and to make coffee. I’ve been all over the country, to Mexico and Alaska, but I’ve never had to do any road repairs except lube and adjust the chain tension. I can’t seem to get myself to a rally. I’ve passed through Sturgis few times, but always in the weeks before or after the rally. Too many people I guess. I’m always itching to get out of town after a couple of hours. :)

Looks like a new version of the old Army Surplus half tents. Alot nicer, too. For the few years I have left traveling like this, I'll stick with the Old School one.

I was wearing biker boots in jr high running with my best friends older brothers biker friends galloping gooses in L.A. in the 60s on the back of their bikes sometimes when they would get shit faced and take us up the coast 101 or to sunset at night.with the same bikes and looks I ride a 2024 low rider st today and have had many shovels ,,its great seeing a bitchn video and old cars in your town all great to see killer tunes. keep em coming.
