What you don't experience in this photographic imagery? Filthy sewage and industrial waste that has been dumped into Khadi/creeks/backwaters of Mumbai. I have never witnessed anywhere in the world the seawater so filthy as Mumbai's coast and an unbearable stench that comes from the creeks of Mumbai 24/7 🤮🤮

There used to be a huge stretch of mangroves spanning Bandra East to Kurla and Govandi to Mankhurd and beyond right in the early 1960s. Builders found this stretch the easiest to find their footmark by dumping debris and it started the killing of the environment which is still continuing in and around Navi Mumbai and parts of Madh Island. Sorry state of affairs which beleaguered Mumbai.

I am a Ulwe, Navi Mumbai resident. Ulwe has quite an area of mangroves. I have seen red foxes, monitor lizards and many bird species here in the mangroves. I urge you Mangrove foundation to come and visit Ulwe region. You guys are doing a tremendous job.
