Hi Jennilee. I love all of your sweaters and socks. And I really love the way your feathers and fans blanket looks with the mandala yarn. I’ll just tell you that I had a sweater where the neckline always stretched out and it wasn’t even superwash yarn. I crocheted a chain of stitches around the neck and it pulled it together and held it in place. I’ve seen other people do that too. I guess you just need to make sure that it stretches enough to get over your head. ❤ so glad you have reached 1000 subscribers.

Bone Carver was such a great color choice! It looks great and I hope you find a solution for the neckline.

Emotional support camisole...made me laugh out loud! I love the sweater! The color is great! I have had success putting over blocked tops in the dryer for a few minutes on low-medium after I have washed them. They were superwash merino and after a short time in the dryer I found that the stitches tightened up nicely. Of course you will need to decide if you think that will work for your garment.

Hi, Jenylee. Your Brooklyn raglan is gorgeous. If the too broad neckline bothers you it would be worth do it again , on smaller needles and/or picking less stitches. As it is a winter sweater, a broad neck won't keep you warm and cozy. It was a very productive week. See you next week.

Love your sweater. I feel your pain on the dropped stitch. It is so much worse when you are sleepy and it is a project you are not feeling. Congrats on 1,000 that's my current goal. Your waffle cardi looks like it is going to be so cozy. I can't wait to see it done. I am guilty of picking up a lot of the mandala cakes when I find them on sale and then they just sit 😅.

I love this sweater you’re wearing. I prefer a tighter neckline and I would probably pick up those stitches and rib another inch or two. I generally knit vests, living in Tennessee often a sweater is too warm. But vest is perfect. Love the socks and enjoyed every bit of the podcast.

Congratulations on 1000 subscribers!!!! Your finished sweater looks really good! You probably already have done this but I heard another knitter say she used elastic to bring the neckline in a some. She sewed it on the inside of the neckline. Enjoy your holiday 😊

The reason your sweater stretched is because you used super-wash yarn, try drying it in your dryer on a low setting, this should pull it back to a bit snugger fit. But you will probably alway have it stretching. Don’t recommend super-wash yarn for sweaters. If the neck continues to be too open, just run an elastic through the top ribbing, that will snug it up around your neck a bit.

Catching up. I am curious to if we will have Fall this year. Last year we went from 120 down to 60 in 6 weeks and Halloween night we had a wind chill under 45. It was so unheard of. Normally Summer last until after Thanksgiving.

I used to love starting school especially in elementary school. But I hated when my kids went back to school cause I missed them. 😊 What grade do you teach?

Have a great school year. My daughter teaches in our district and the teachers have to report this Wednesday. Love how different the yarnable yarns look for each month. Mine didn’t have as much color as yours.

I was so skeptical about the mohair stripes in the Rock It Tee when the pattern came out, but it seems much less sheer than I expected. I would not have guessed you were wearing black underneath! Great catch on the Uptown Tee stitches while you can still tink back to fix it. I hope the mission goes smoothly.

Hi there. I love flexi flips for sleeves and socks. I made the Uptown tee last summer and I can feel your pain. I really struggled to stay in pattern and do the raglan increases, for a simple eyelet pattern it was a doozy. I had to stop at every row and do a stitch count to stay on track. It took FOREVER. Hopefully you’ll get a rhythm and breeze through it.

I love it when my boys like things I made them.

Great idea to put a marker with every decrease on that sweater. I’ve never heard that tip before. I don’t knit sweaters, but i’m sure I can apply it elsewhere. I love the socks! Hope you don’t ever stop knitting those.
