Yep electronic Just another thing to go wrong . Rather have the Manuel system back. Give me old school rather then all this electronic BS.

my 2019 i just bought after using 4 wheel drive it lags a little bit then is okay i've never had 4 wheel drive i'll try what u just described taping brake ect ford f150

This video is ridiculous. This guy actually works at a dealership?! There is no need and it’s ridiculous to step on the brake to switch from 2H to 4H. That is done on the fly, (obviously not at 100mph) I have been doing that ever since the 1990s when I got my first electronic 4wd shift. I live in Maine, I snow plow in a very rural area, so I need 4wd quite often. 5 months out of the year I switch in and out of 4H with impunity, never had any problems. Now I had some very old trucks, 1970s vintage, that you had to lock the hubs and manually pull a lever while stopped to engage 4H. 4High on the fly was the big selling point to electronically activated 4wd. I rarely make contrary comments but this guy needs to get educated on the subject. The only thing this video accomplished was showing his lack of knowledge/ignorance on a very important feature. Wow, just wow.

You don’t need to put your foot on the brake to shift into 4H or 4L. 4H is “shift n to he fly” and 4L you have to put the truck in neutral then shift into 4L. It’s obvious that you have no clue what you’re talking about

Isn’t this only made for racing on track NOT as regular daily type car. The base is best as daily?
