I want to make my own wax

I am new to diamond painting and makes errors. My question is; can dots be moved into a straight line, or be removed if it is rhe wrong color?

Thank you for your video! I am so happy to find a quality video (not an advertisement or anything) for a diamond painting sealant which will keep the shine but protect and enhance the art which we all spend much time and effort on creating. The worst thing is to pour your heart into a project only to ruin it at the very end. I’m thrilled that Liquitex will function as a sealer because 1) I have it already being a painter & 2) that it clearly is a far superior finish to use as it is designed to protect and maintain the clear gloss look without the dreaded yellowing, frothing, or cracking of the obviously less well thought through products on the market. I love your process of wiping off the top of the drills and only using what is needed because it makes no sense to muck up the original shine of the facets as I’ve seen some people doing (why?!). So anyway, excellent job on the video and thanks again for sharing. I’m going to try my hand at this asap! Cheers from the Bay 🌁 Area❣️💜💎

Thanks for the tips. I also have some wax from some melts left, didn't want to just bin it, and was wondering what I could do. So gonna try and make my own diamond painting wax. But it would be a good starting point to play around with

I’m sure they love you lots, but keep that spirit within you alive for yourself!

I’ve only tried blu tak. The few times I’ve gotten it on my canvas, I was able to get it off pretty easy. It was a pain in that sense. I also found I could sort of spread what remained on the canvas and just place my drills over it. You have to know which ones go there of course. But they stay. I have trouble with my hands too so I may try the museum putty. I have arthritis. I watched a video on loading pens and she used tweezers to help press it in. It works good. I’m still messy loading and hate that.

I just started using the Museum Quake product. So far I am impressed with it, especially if using a multiplacer. I am a new subscriber to your channel and live in the US.

Thank you so much for this review. 💕 I tried white blu tak but found it too sticky in my multiplacer. Then tried Museum Putty which was much better in the multi placer. However, over time the museum putty got too soft with use. I’m currently using the UHU White Tack which is my favourite and lasts for ages. I do store it in the fridge along with my diamond painting pens to help it harder. I do use a light pad & metal placers. For the single placer pen tip, I use the Glue Dots in 3mm (the US ones with the silver purse on the front) which are amazing. 👌

Hi! Just saw this video. I have been saving scented wax melts (air fresheners) that are made of soy. I have loads and debated on making candles with them- or figuring out how they can be repurposed in general. I know you are not a wax professional, lol, but what are your thoughts about trying to use the wax for diamond painting wax? As it is, they are too soft and mushy from the scented oils... do you reckon adding a stickier wax might firm it up enough to make it useful for diamond painting wax? If that worked I would have great smelling dp wax, lol. So pine wax makes it stickier???
