@@mochabarbie3764 👋 Y2k cameras are mostly charged with a wall charger. Only a few can be charged only with the USB cable. So you’ll need an external battery charger type NP-BN1. In google type : charger for DSC-W320, and you’ll find it. Other option is to buy a universal charger from aliexpress for 4 usd. Good luck

@@notforpeep Hi, I sold this camera a while ago with a veeeery old SD (not SDHC) card of only 2 GB of brand Trascend because i think the one of 4 GB didn’t work. I normally sell the cameras with a 4 GB sdhc 10 memory card but they don’t always work. It is very common y2k cameras take cards up to with 2 GB from the early 2000 that is only SD to be sure. Also, you should always format the cards before using them. This is a common problem, you have to ask your older neighbours if they have these cards lol

@@matt_scapp_Panda Hi, this one uses 2 AA batteries found at supermarkets and everywhere. I buy some very cheap ones with the supermarket brand here in Denmark like Duracell and they last some days, i don’t count the hours though because you have to turn it off after using it. I take 100-200 pictures. I would recommend getting rechargeable batteries

they only work with high quality alkaline batteries like duracell. If you don’t use good batteries, it will turn on. I think digital cameras are not worth fixing as it will cost you more

no, you need a charger. you can get a cheap one ( universal charger) on temu

i don’t know but maybe closing the canera( turning it off) and connecting it to the computer though a usb cable will help ? At least it worked with imovie . With the camera off, connect it to your laptop through a USB cable WITH the SD card inside the with the files you intend to transfer. Step 1: Open the LCD door of the camcorder and you should see the option "playback on pc” 2: Select OK on the camcorder. 3: Open iMovie, clicked on Audio & Video and the new videos should appear there. If you want to see the movies in .MOV format you can locate the desired file in iMocie (you can see yellow all around the movie) and then I click on FILE and REVEAL IN FINDER and see the movie in .mov format. So instead of opening imovie, you can open the camera roll . not sure if this will work as i don’t have the camera anymore
