Your pair has bad leather. I know it sounds crazy, but I've ordered 3 pairs of these from 2 different official retailers and the leather on all 3 pairs is wildy different. 1 is smooth and very soft leather, the best quality. 1 has tumbled leather on sides and front. 1 has that Normal Jordan 1 low leather which doesn't show any wrinkles when you press and is the worst quality. Even the shoe shape is different. It's bonkers

Two things: 1. Heard somewhere that the breds will release next year in the '85 cut. 2. Estimates are that Jordan pays about 20 to 30, depending on the materials, for each retro Jordan. That's materials and production costs. Added to that is another 20 bucks for shipping, marketing and advertising. So Jordan brand invests somewhere between 40 to 50 bucks in each pair of retros. So even though Jordans are expensive, I find the prices somewhat reasonable. Could be a little lower but it's not crazy unfair. Comepare that to a clothing brand like Roberto Cavalli. Recently I ordered a zip hoodie from them that originally cost 340 bucks (I got it for 55 bucks). Now that thing was the worst quality of materials, thin and almost completely polyester, made in Bangladesh. Ended up sending it back because even though I only paid 55 bucks, the idea of having the nerve to originally ask 340 bucks for a hoodie that you would get at target for 20 bucks, made me sick to my stomach. Compared to that, Jordans are priced really relatively fair 😂

loved the video as always. need those JFG 990v3s. found a special box pair ds for $340 a few months ago on Grailed. hesitated and didn’t pull the trigger. the listing got sold a day or two later. ended up being one of the bigger sneaker regrets i had. my size is hard to come by for sale and even more so at a doable price. the hunt continues. peace.

The rumor has it that Nike/Jordan Brand wanted to release the AJ1 Low Neutral Grey with the 85 specs already in 2021 but because of miscommunication with their factory(’s) during the pandemic it became an OG version instead. 🤷🏻‍♂️

V3s are definitely the most well rounded but I beg you to try the v6 they’re so comfortable

These retail for $160 which might be a bit overpriced for the materials, but overall I'm at times happy not to pay $200 for a casual runner. What do you guys think?
