Florida trip 2023

Our trip to Florida for the month of March. We went pretty much went straight south through IL, TN, and AL to Florida. Then east to St Augustine, south to Miami, back north to Tampa Bay and home through GA, SC, TN, KY, OH, IN and IL.

Highlights of our 2022 trip out west. We took Hwy 2 across MN, ND, and MT to Glacier National Park. Then criss crossed back and forth across Idaho from north to south. Then on to Yellowstone National Park. We then went to western SD and the Black Hills.

A ride along the Snake River on the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway which starts and ends in Oregon but is ridden on the Idaho side of the river.
Lewis and Clark Back Country Byway

The route is a gravel loop about 36 miles long. It runs uphill to the Montana border along the Continental divide and back down. Starting in high desert terrain to high country woods and back.
Hiawatha bike trail up hill

This is a bike trail on the Montana / Idaho. It runs downhill about 13 miles and you can get a shuttle ride back up the hill. Being that this is an old railroad grade it has about a 2% downhill grade, tunnels, and high trestles. The video is the ride back up the hill. I wouldn't drive a long way to get to it but if in the neighborhood it is a cool ride. www.ridethehiawatha.com/
Glacier National Park 9 11 22

A ride through Glacier National Park from east to west. Lots of cars and smoke from the wild fires in the area. Almost of the waterfalls have dried up due to the drought in the area.

A ride through Theodore Roosevelt National Park South Unit. This is part of the North Dakota Bad Lands and seems to have more buffalo and Prairie dogs than the North Unit did at least close to or in the road.

A ride through Theodore Roosevelt National Park North Unit. From the end inside back to the gate. Some buffalo in the distance but mainly the northern end of the Bad Lands in North Dakota.

Man we were so good. I'm still upset that I wasnt there to play. Tons of talented musicians. One of the best summers of my life.

i missed it last year sorry guys. Working 6 days a week had me beat.
Of course I did, trying not to look that bad at this. If you talk to Ryan, you should tell him to check his reeds on the Sherco. Make sure they are not cracked and sealing good. Another thing to check might be compression. Either could make his bike start hard when hot.
