Definitely feel the same way the customer service was great until I paid then they acted like they didn’t know me.
Sorry to hear that, Jack… what I can say positive is their boats are absolutely the best. Thanks for watching.
@the boat definitely makes up for it I have had my 1854 for 8 months and have no regrets.
DO NOT try to charge the battery with the leads going to the bilge pump😮
I am about the pull the trigger on a Prodigy and wanted to ask you what kind of hull you have on yours? The flat bottom or 8degree razor? I’m not sure which one to go with.
Hey Tommy, thanks for the comment… it depends on the type of water you are going to be running. Flat bottom for more mud and stumps, 8 degree for more open or big water. Either way, you will not regret the prodigy. Let us know how it goes.
I wish these came in tall .
We have one hunter who is 6’2”… waders and hunting clothes fit him like a model from LL Bean. The rest of our group is short and stocky. Let us know what you find that may work for the hunter who needs tall sizes. Thanks for the comment.
LOL. Safety was never a consideration when I started bow hunting for deer. We would stand in a tree with a board between two limbs. We even stood with one foot on a limb and the other hoping for purchase.
Ha, we remember those days. Things have sure come a long way even in our day. A Baker stand was a luxury! Thanks for watching.
@@wkyblue-collaroutdoors2152 I watched one of my old buddies (deceased) demonstrate a Baker on a Popple tree. Going up, I was highly impressed. He came flying down that tree like a squirrel and ripped his clothes practically off. We laughed so damn hard it hurt. That was back on the mid 70's. This will date me, but my first deer was killed with a Shim-Bo that cost 11 bucks from Century Products. I did use Bear razor heads for years though. Decades, actually. Pretty sure the arrows came from KMart.
I'm just getting into duck hunting and ran into your channel looking at Big Man Waders. Then I found this video and see you're a brother in Christ. Gonna subscribe. Great message. God bless.
Hey brother, the only thing we are more passionate about than ducks is Jesus… thanks for watching, God bless
Great review. Thinking about buying one. Does the tiller handle fold up on these things? If I have a dude that wants to fish the back deck of my boat, is he going to be fighting the handle the entire time? Would be sold if the handle folds up out of the way. Thanks.
Hey, Holden… yes, the back handle flips up vertically 90 degrees. Most surface drive motors do to allow kick up when running. Thanks again for watching.
Do you like the remote over the foot pedal?
Hey Hydro… after years with the foot control, it takes some getting used to, but in short, yes. It allows more room on your bow plus no cable to mess with. Spot lock is awesome if you have never used one. Thanks for the comment.
Just suscribed to your channel. Do these cameras run on cell service . Thanks
Hey Joe, ours we have tested so far do not. We have several of the cells to put out this coming season. Stay tuned! Thanks for the comment.
$25 now for just the rod holder…
Wow… that fits with the rest of our economy, I guess. Thanks for the update, Bear.
@@wkyblue-collaroutdoors2152 take the good with the bad,, either way I bought 6 of the and don’t regret it. They’re great
@@wkyblue-collaroutdoors2152 even at that price it’s a good deal knowing you’re not gonna lose a rod. I just picked up 6 of em, and couldn’t be happier!
Thanks for the info. Fish On 🎣
Same to you guys… thanks again
@WKY Blue-Collar Outdoors I wanted your opinion on this product since you already bit the bullet. I am trying to not have a gun box in my boat because I need the space to put people down on the floor going to the hole in the mornings (classic case of trying to take too much stuff in as little of a boat as possible to weave through the trees at a gazillion MPH in the dark). I need to hold 4 guns in cases, 1 or 2 paddles, decoy hook stick, rear running light (that I don't ever use in public flooded timber), old backup spot light on a stick. Do you think this product will hold this amount of "stuff"?
@Laughinghawg this product would have a hard time holding that many guns in cases with your other equipment. It has very wide sleeves, but I think 4 guns in cases w/paddles and hooks would not work. It would probably hold 2, maybe 3 plus your other equipment. What we can say is this product is very well made and tough. Only negative is camo fades quickly. Several zipper pockets and flaps help with smaller gear. Hope this helps. Thanks for the comment
@@wkyblue-collaroutdoors2152 Thanks for the quick reply. It helps a lot. As far as the camo fading, that's what they make camo burlap for. Does the job and it's inexpensive. Even though it seems like everything we have in and on the boat is cameoed we still keep camo burlap in the boat. Some habits are hard to kill. Have a great weekend!
Do you launch the dog from the sled? I’m trying to figure out how to get my dog in the marsh with me.
@williamcarter746 we transport our dogs in the sleds pretty easily but usually don’t launch in and out in the flooded timber. We can see the struggle where the sled would not be steady enough for stable in and out. If you hunt a lot of flooded timber, try an old Baker deer stand on a tree or a raised platform blind like Momarsh. We train all year with those. Hope this helps. Thanks for the comment.
Just bought and sent back a great pair of LaCrosse, couldn't get my foot in them, bought a size bigger and the design of the Ankle, it's like trying to put a golf ball through a garden hose. I don't know how anyone can get them on unless they have chicken legs. Any help in the boot department would be appreciated..
@bubbacole1657 our group has almost exclusively went to Gator Waders. They have been the best we have tried. We have not had any trouble with them going on or off. Hope this helps. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks for your help, I have such a high instep that can't get books on.@@wkyblue-collaroutdoors2152
Thank you for your review
Thanks for watching!
How are they now. Do you still have them. They good in heat like100 degree temp
We still have them and still use them to train/trial dogs. They have held up amazingly. As far as pants go, they are as cool as they get. We have used some Columbia zip-offs that are lighter but not any cooler. Hope this helps, thanks again for the comment.
@@wkyblue-collaroutdoors2152 thanks
I’ve had a banded chair for four or five years now and I use mostly use it for dove hunting about five days per year. I weigh about 200 lbs and the chair is comfortable and has held up well. It is light enough that I can pretty easily pack the chair, a backpack containing a several mojo decoys and a decoy tree, plus a bucket with shells, gear, and water into a blind.
Hey Kevinc, thanks for the testimonial. It was not one of our favs for an all day sit in the duck blind, but glad to hear it has lasted a few years of dove hunting. Light is definitely the key there. Thanks again.
They stopped making outpost 2x ..sad
We saw that… good product and value for us hunters gone
I am having a hard time deciding what blind to get for my prodigy. Do you have any recommendations?
There are several good blinds out there. The best blind will definitely be the one made for the boat from Prodigy. We purchased the Drake Ghillie blind for ours. It was a nice look but stretched out too far for our 1854. Beavertail also makes a good blind. Hope this helps.
It’s been three years, what was the durability? I just bought a pair and am crossing my fingers for great results!
We had several pairs of Rogers Elite in our group and only one has survived the 3 years. My zipper pair went back after season 1 for a strap anchor tearing. The zipper held up well and no leaks but 3 of our pairs tore in different sewn areas. Thank you for the comment-we hope you get several years use from your pair.
@@wkyblue-collaroutdoors2152 thanks for the reply!
if your concerned with weight you should use a lifepo4 battery 100ah to power your systems.. 21lbs :)
Thanks for the comment, @tribalncgaming… we appreciate you watching
Your comment about 55 pounds of thrust being enough is spot on! I use mine exclusively for low speed maneuvering while fishing in a 16’ boat. I use #3 power setting or less 95% of the time. On the rare occasion that there is too much wind for how I use a trolling motor, I fire up the outboard and then use the Minn Kota like a bow thruster to keep from getting blown off course. Thanks for the video!
Hey, noyopacific… we appreciate the feedback. We have had good success with ours as well. Thanks again for the comment.
are you still pastoring? i need to see more sermon videos
Yes. We are streaming live on fb now. Search Andy Corbin and you will be able to see Sunday and Wednesday night services. God bless.
Man ole man… good Lord looking out for them. Be safe everyone.. and ALWAYS have a plan in case things go south.
Amen…
I love my GTRXD40!! Like you said, i wish had trim switch on back for trailering bracket… and I wish had more power in reverse.
We agree, speculizer1971… thank you for watching and both comments.
Personally, I wouldn't trust anything with zippers
Hey Herb R, thanks for the comment. The zipper doesn’t hold back the water, just tightens the flap… but you are right, zippers fail often. Our experience with Rogers waders overall is they start leaking in the crotch before year 2… thanks again for watching.
Amen! Thank God for His hand of protection on them……on all of us!!!
They look amazing but the keels brake off of them, they're pretty much designed to break off
Terry, we have not experienced keel issues with ours. We have had some problems with head paint chipping off after hard wear. Thanks for the comment, appreciate you watching.
@@wkyblue-collaroutdoors2152 I have 4 with the keels broken off and 2 more fixing to. I've ordered a plastic repair staple tool to try and salvage them
Not a good motor for bass boats because of lack of rope to deploy and stow the motor.
Thank you for the testimony. We are all about hearing the “good, bad and the ugly.”
What is your opinion 3 years later?
Honestly, our hunting crew has moved on to using Gator Waders almost exclusively. The Rogers brand were beginning to leak after 1-2 years use. So far, the Gators have held up better, less returns. We still have one Rogers hold out bc they are less expensive. Also, the Gators have a permanent liner, cannot remove like Rogers. 1600 gram boots are very warm and comfortable but only come in even sizes. Hope this helps. Thanks for the comment.
Will have to say I'm I a bigail guy 6"1 300lb fit good just tight on the belly use these at work and hunt in 0 degrees weather and they burn me up if I move more than 30min at a time but best money I ever spent staying warm
They have been really great for us. Thanks for the comment, Big. Stay safe and warm out there.
Amen
Thanku for all that info. I'm looking for a sled but it has to float as I need to tow it behind my canoe which is limited on space.
Hey, Jack… this is a deep, wide sled. We have used them for a few years now and they are great. If the weight is even, it will pull nicely behind your canoe. Stay dry, buddy! Thanks for the comment.
I cant wait
If you have one ordered, it will not disappoint. Ours has been a good one. Thanks for watching.
Great video i have a question I have trouble finding biggg men sizesI wear a 6xl shirt im a big guy but short wear 48x30 pants size 11 shoe but my chest is the problem my chest is like 60inches what size should i buy in waders thx
Hey Jeffrey, thanks for the question. I am 5’10” 300lbs, 58” chest 44x30 pant and these fit me with plenty of room in the chest. I usually buy a size 12 for a warmer foot and more chest room. The waders come long but not too bad to wear. Custom waders are great but expensive. USIA Drysuits is probably the best for custom but they were in transition with new owners the last time I spoke with them. Hope this helps.
@@wkyblue-collaroutdoors2152 yes sir thank you
@@wkyblue-collaroutdoors2152 i actually just bought a pair of 12 husky rogers 5mm for 109.00 i cant wait to get them thats an awesome price i hunt in mississippi always deer hunted and squirrel just getting into waterfowl and im in the Mississippi delta so waders are a must thank you again its so hard for a new waterfowl hunter to get information
Good voice. And very pleased with your review. New subscriber. I see a Brite future for this channel.👊

I'm disgusted and disheartened to hear your story but I'm not at all surprised...sadly. Cabela's customer service is completely down the toilet! Sorry for your experience. I'm offended that they even made such a poor offer after everything you've gone through.
Unfortunately, we do not order from Cabelas any longer. There was a time when we ONLY ordered from Cabelas and one of the reasons was the Customer Service. I realize some people took advantage of their graciousness, but honest folks appreciated the way returns and defects were handled. Thanks for the reply, Paul A.
My wife got me a monster bank master pro when I sold my boat, best gift I've ever got, love it, I use big surf gear on the river, no worries about losing rods
That sounds like a good wife right there! Lol

I like to hear what you are saying. I fell twice. Equipment broke. Rope on my climbing stick. My ZZZ foot step broke. Don't use them I had 4 to break as I was climbing up using them.

I’m actually pretty disappointed with the new UA base layers. The originals were soooo much better. The originals only went up to 3.0. My mom got me the shirt for $70 more than 15 years ago. Best and warmest thing I’ve ever worn as far as layers are concerned. Amazingly durable, too. I’m wearing mine as I type this. Got it in college. I’m 39 now. So sad when all the best stuff you love seems to always get discontinued or revamped to save money at the expense of quality.
I have one of the original sets as well-compression fit. It is still warm and has been very durable (bought in 2001). The 4.0 seems to be warmer but certainly the old stuff was great too. Thanks for the comment.
How does the 40GTR do? I am currently debating with going with a 40 GTR or a 50HDR mud buddy. Do you ever feel like the 40GTR was underpowered?
The GTR 40 pushes our 1854 Prodigy @ 30 mph with 2 men, dog and gear. You can really see the power struggle to get on plane with 3 men. If you hunt 3 people, it will need help in the power department. Thanks for watching.
@@wkyblue-collaroutdoors2152 I appreciate your inputs!

I just got a pair of the Cabela's mtp heavyweight and I'm hoping that will keep me warm in the tree stand 😂
We are extremely pleased with the UA 4.0… it is very warm. Let us know how the Cabelas version performs for you. Thanks for the comment.
Outdated technology but I really like it for my vanguard.
