Upon further viewing I don't think I did repeat a segment. Oh well.

We did have a vote and Slot.it DTM was on the list along with Carrera DTM. Some of us had Carrera cars from before. Carrera DTM simply got the votes. One of our members lucked into a bunch of them so he was able to pass some of them along to other club members. We also like to keep the prices of potential new classes down for new members and we needed another mid-level (speed-wise) class instead of a faster class.

@@tri-countyslotcarclub7106 All valid reasons 👍 We also have a Carrera DTM class from ages ago when we all got the cars for cheap, but we race it so rarely now with the Slotit releases. Good on that guy for passing along the cars for others to enjoy too!

We like running the Pioneer Legends on this tight track. I have asked Larry, the track owner, for dimensions.

Hi the track is 6’ x 12’ with a squeeze over the bridge and at the hairpin at the beginning of the main straightaway. Thanks for the interest . 🏎

If you mean the part on the right with cars travelling away from the camera, yes it is tricky because it has a slight squeeze and goes up and over a bridge so faster cars actually deslot if you apply power too quickly.

Yes, urethane tires lay down a layer of "rubber" as more laps are turned. Most of the MDF tracks in the area have been painted with matt or eggshell latex paint. As the urethane is laid down it improves traction.

Very cool thanks! We use the same type of paint with our mdf but rubber tyres only.

@@GoldCountrySRA We started using Oortmann urethane tires and then one of our club members started making urethane tires on his own for cars for which we could not find Oortmann tires. More recently another local-ish guy had begun making urethane tires as well. He now supplies a good percentage of urethane tires to most of the club racers in the greater Toronto area.

Yes there is, however, a well prepared car is still required to negotiate it at speed. Thanks for the comment.
