Shitty OVA. The producer is an Yuigahama fan for sure. The date doesn't even happen in the novel. In contrast, Hikigaya just reject her completely. And 3 dates of Hachiman and Yukino were cut, what a fricken joke.

Yui is the only genuine character from the whole anime. She follows her heart unlike all the others which have their agendas. If she was real she’d be a national treasure.
If she actually follows her heart, things definitely won't go the way as it was now. She was in love with Hikki in the first place, but she knew Hikki was onto Yukino instead, so she didn't have the courage to (follow her heart and) make a move but instead staying in the club looking for a chance. But then she got along with Yukino, and as Yukino was starting to be fond of Hikki, she was even more struggled as she didn't want to betray her friend. So she was strangled and never could follow her heart. Actually it is this exact OVA that Yui finally learn to follow her heart, make the confession and even told Yukino that she hasn't given up (sadly it was cut out). If she was as brave as she pretended to be, she would have been more aggressive to express her love to Hikki. Either it scares off Hikki for good or him surrender, while the latter Yui wins, in the former case Yui has no reason to stay in the club anymore, and without Yui in the club as lubricant Hikki and Yukino can never get close enough to let Yukino start appreciating Hikki, so Yukino also wouldn't win. Thus Yui's "not following her heart" is the exact reason why she lost at the end.
if she followered her heart she would have won in the 1st place, hikigaya become that loner because he got into an accident that leads him into being alone with no friends (most of the students when he resume his class are already in groups) "IF" only Yui followered her heart early and introduces her self as the one that owns the dog he saved, Hiki might develop some feelings to her because she would be the 1st one aside from the professor and not Yukino that he can talk to. but she waited then hiki turns into that Pessimist/realist person

Even before he found out it was her dog he saved, anytime he saw Yukino he went on literal TANGENTS about her, whereas literally anyone else only ever received a “meh” for him. It’s a literal character thing for her. She never had a chance and the only reason people thought she did was because of the studio axing god knows how much Yukinoshita content to push Yui.

I believe it was a mistranslation. I think Hikigaya was supposed to say "a detective agency" as a way of taking a jab at Yukinoshita mom for asking all these questions.
I guess she just asks if he knows about a business family, but hikigaya confuses thinking it is like a brand or something or an agency name
@@jhojamt4168 He answered credit agency because Yukinoshita's family is full of deceptive, cunning and manipulative people. And you know how most credit people try to scam others... You can make the correlation here. He's basically calling them scammers.
