We are excited to present our project, "Deep Learning-Powered ASL Recognition with Multilingual and Adaptive Feedback Features," a collaborative effort by our team for the CMPE-258 course at SJSU. This project showcases a robust application that combines cutting-edge deep learning techniques, an intuitive React-based UI, and advanced backend processing using FastAPI. The system enables real-time recognition of ASL gestures, word formation, and multilingual translation, aiming to bridge communication gaps for individuals with hearing and speech impairments.
