I tried for an Autism Diagnosis! Here's what happened 🤔 😶
So this is an explanation for why I have been so quiet on RUclips for the past year.
I realised after recording, that when I spoke to the doctor before she referred me.... I got a bit cross with her coz it sounded like she wasn't going to do it (again) So I think I said something like "I'm sick of being fobbed off all the time!!" So she has to go away & find out if they were actually able to refer people after Covid & everything.
I was soo pleased & excited that I had finally got the referral, only to be let down once again!! 😳🥺🙄
So yeah! Am still not sure what to do from here but am going to let the universe figure it out 🤔 😶 Hope you enjoy my video

Got my delivery today from Tink n Stink (which came really quick) So thought I would do an unboxing video! All meant to be good for sleep & it smells like a balm I got from Boots a few years ago to help with...

Grief & Loss Part 3 - Counselling & Bereavement group.

3rd & final video about my experiences after loosing my Dad. Counselling especially, has been an amazing help for me. What I couldn't quite find the words to discribe in the video; was that topics in the Bereavement group (including Memories & issues with sleep) help people to move forward, hopefully navigating their grief, making it easier to bear/accept the loss eventually. One day I will get...

I lost my Dad after a battle with Cancer at end of September 2019. I feel the grieving process is personal to each individual but just wanted to share my own experience in the lead up to his passing! Also a brief part at the end for anyone who has lost someone recently.
Autism - Self Diagnosed & Why

This video is just explaining how I've come to the conclusion that I am Autistic. I had my sound machine waves on in the background to help relax me. Still feel a bit nervous doing videos but seemed to get into this one a bit more. Hope you enjoy & find it useful
Autism 1st video (looking back)

Well I've been wanting to start doing videos for a while now but wasn't sure where to begin. Then I found something I wrote in the back of a notebook 7 or 8 years ago (I will find out exactly & post in the comments) when I 1st thought I had Asperger's. I went through a rough time back then & went back to my normal way of being. But now after the passing of my Dad 4 months ago (just over) I have...

Love seeing a new video, Clare! I'm sorry you're struggling with your sleep. I can't function when I don't sleep, so I understand the struggle. Have you tried trazodone? It's an anti-depressant but can also be used as a sleep aid. That's what I take before bed and it works really well for me. And congratulations on making progress with your autism diagnosis!! That's so exciting. I wish you the best of luck! :)

Awe Thank you for the comment 😏😊 am going to see how things go over the next 2 weeks medication wise. Could really tell the difference last night after missing a dose & really just want to scrap them straight away coz in a better mental place than b4. Thanks for the tip & I'll mention that med to the doctor if no improvement after 2 weeks. Really hope ur doing well x

Loved hearing about your point of view on Autism. I live in my own world too and a stuffed animal bunny (named Bunny, so creative, I know) who has traveled with me every single place I've ever traveled to since I got him when I was five.

Well, watching that back, maybe stuff has changed a bit since then (FOUND OUT FROM LOOKING AT PHOTOS IT WAS 2013) Even very recently since b4 my Dad past away (Sept 2019) I have been getting better at interecting with new people. So When I said "I'm Very introverted, hard to express how I feel & intimidated in large group" That's a little dated & makes it sound worse than it is. Sure I have small uncomfortable feelings still when I'm around people I don't know or in a big group. It's more a case of I would like to say more than I do sometimes, like I find it difficult to know when to speak & therefore don't share as much as I want to. Sorry If I made my traits sound worse than they are, I was just reading the things that I wrote 7 years ago. A whole lot have happened since then & I'm still finding my feet on being Autistic so if you could bare with me, that would be amazing! Thanks :)
