How in the world did they get that panel so big without losing quality? Did you scan it at a ridiculous PPI?

Probably cohesion. But also, think I would need to learn how to isolate icons to maintain the watercolour effect. Curious about the recolouring that you spoke about in Photoshop.

It can be tough to remove a design from a collection, but in the long run, it could be the right thing to do. Eliz Silver once said "Don't fall in love with your art." You have to make those hard choices. :) thanks for your insight!

I treated myself to your book, and am practicing eyes now. I have been practicing watercolour portraits and am not bad, but I want to scale down a bit and just do faces, instead of portraits. I really like the step by step building of faces in your book. It makes the process relaxing. I found portraits quite stressful, because there's always something "off"... I think once I'm confident in just building faces, I might go back to portraits

I love that you make the same mistakes I do: "I already went overboard with my mouth" "Am I dry, am I dry? I'm dry..... and I wasn't dry! " 😂
