Believe it or not. Demona is but it is more of her love of Goliath from 1,000 years ago. For if you look her up, she was manipulating Goliath long before the betrayal. Not to the extent of her own benefit at the time. But while Hudson was STILL the leader in episode “Long Way Till Morning” she pressured both Goliath and Hudson to make HIM the leader. For it would benefit her by moving her up the ladder for she knew Goliath would come to her for a second opinion in matters towards the clan. When I first watched the movie then to the series I found it strange the way Demona treated some of the decision making. And although yes at times I won’t deny she DID seem to love Goliath. But Demona was also afraid of Goliath hating her during Awakening part 5. She felt that when Goliath went silent asking her famous line. “You trusted me once. You loved me once. We have finally found each other again after a thousand years of solitude, does that mean nothing to you?” When Goliath went silent looking away, she realized he must hate her. And before he could put it into words, Demon a chose to hate him first. But Demona is STILL in love with Goliath version in her head from 1,000 years. For remember. Demona had spent 1,000 years dreaming in stone of being with him from that one night. And seeing how he has changed if you look back on her face during Awakening part 4 when they enter the airship. Demona was about to throw one of the men out from the ship. If you notice how her eyes turned bitter for Goliath from 1,000 years ago might have been a different answer whether that’s true or not. But Demona fails to understand people change. Even her own clan could change and in the future they are allowed more freedom than in the past. Just as Demona changed through the years. It is sad but Demona I feel is you know how they say you love someone whole. Both good and bad qualities. Demona fell for SOME parts of Goliath but it’s his refusal to accept that humans should be killed for a bad night THEY ALL shared in pain. In different ways but the pain was still the same.

As much as demona is horrible I feel sorry for her she lost her clan and wasn't able to raise her daughter and was jilted by two lovers her past before the clan woke up was sad being hunted and hated just for getting food no wonder she hated humans even when she came back to Goliath she could see her whole clan preferred Elisa to her and that hurt even more so I could she why she is the way she is and I feel so sorry for her
