Have an na version 06 exige with a custom built 2zzge that will destroy at the track. 13.5:1 comp. and 1500lbs tack car with fluids. Who gives a crap about status? These are meant for track and drivers not guys cruising in their mid 50s worried about golf buddies. vettes and vipers are unoriginal and dont handle. These are more unique and more focused and more rewarding. No ac no power steering no power brakes no stereo no passenger seat. just motor, manual, suspension,areo, and brakes

Lotus is a status symbol? Dude.. WTF, mercedes is a status symbol, bmw, maserati, aston martin... Lotus is for those who have anderstood how incredible can be a go-kart with 980kg and 70k euros... This car is for enthusiast... not such a status symbol! Trust in me! This car is a hell-made car that can pwn down a lot of 150k euros cars ;)

I've got a naturally aspirated Megabusa (180 bhp), and you can find a video of me (much slower than Leo!) on my first trackday at Franciacorta on my youtube page (Losna61) Maybe I'll meet you next year: I'd like to drive at Rijeka...

@Losna61 I can see its fast by the time you posted and even with this traffic - im sure it could beat track record if you were alone on track! And with this much hp there is some wheelspin in video :) Im from croatia and i drove Mauro's 145 2.0 170HP Alfa on track, but megabusa flies compared to Alfa :D tnx for your answers!

@Faceoff1984 there are some turbocharged megabusas, in the range of 300/350 bhp, but they tend to be too tricky to drive on track. They're great on drag strips, but too wild on track. This road legal supercharged Megabusa is faster (on slow and curvy tracks) than GT3 RS, and a great fun to drive.

@Losna61 i tought it has more bhp by looking this vid :) Why didnt go to turbocharger? Turbocharged Hayabusa engine has up to 500bhp (for example Ghostriders) - so 350 bhp would be fairly ok for longer use?

@Faceoff1984 Yes, it's got a Rotrex supercharged Hayabusa. BHP approx 250

@Rayyman99 Lotus is nice, but it's not a tuxedo, a tex would be something like an Audi, or a Porsche Panamera.. Maybe a Maserati. Lotus is more like a Silk button down with pictures of Hawaii on it. It says, look I'm fun but not too serious, not "I'm a rich man driving my nice car to a private party", Lotus isn't a very practical car either... It's a nice tinkering car, with a tiny engine and low weight.. If you want a real speed demon with some status on the side (under $100,000) get a GT-R...

Mannn I love that engine. Many want to knock it, but that is the dream to have a sportscar with a high revving, reliable, cheap to maintain engine. I'm hoping to get one within the year depending on how some plans go.
