Anonymising patient data for research
Просмотров 2,3 тыс.2 года назад
How does anonymising patient data for research work? When we carry out research using patient data, we try to use data containing as little information as possible that can identify a single person. Sounds simple, but it isn't always. See more about patient data use here: www.uclhospitals.brc.nihr.ac.uk/data-and-research/information-public-patient-data-use

UCLH study looks at lower dose for COVID-19 booster vaccine
Просмотров 722 года назад
UCLH has begun a study to see if people receiving their booster Covid-19 vaccination can be given a lower dose of vaccine. Using lower doses could allow existing stocks of vaccines to be given to more people, which is important while the need for vaccines is greater than the number of doses available globally. Lower doses may also be linked with fewer side effects or lower rates of already rare...

Very interesting
This is fantastic. It’s the perfect combination of scientific information and light hearted satire on an incredibly emotive subject. Genuinely the best thing I’ve seen in years. From someone at risk of HD, thank you for making me laugh uncontrollably. I needed that. In context i consider it a dark comedy masterpiece that would fit on Adult Swim. Bravo! X
Using C mask.
Great video!
Fantastic video! Well done everyone and NIHR!
Amazing Department staffed by wonderful, dedicated person centred caring people.
Is there a video of her presentation of the trial data she says her presentation is about?
You Professor Tabrizi, along with your worldwide colleagues, are well I don't know the words to use. This disease has devastated my family. Took my grandfather, mother, sister, my father of a broken heart and left me here alone. I do not know my fate but even though I love children, have chosen to have none. I pray for you and swift successful trials!
you're not alone. My mom is the oldest of 9 kids. I'm the youngest of 7 kids. My mom is in the grips of this disease and now, with so many people of different ages in between I can see it affecting so many.
