dgt pegasus is good after updating official app

after update app to v.1.0. iit behaves stably. you can use it without fear if it only one bluetooth device, if Rhee are many of them, the board often loses connection. with battery charging below 40% it loses connection too.I,m mostly satisfie. My apps raiting: White Pawn 10/10, DOJO 8/10 (there is no on-line games), Chess.com 7/10 (sometimes after 25-30 moves lose connection), dgt chess app 6/...

- Unstable Bluetooth. Often the connection is broken. - There is no recognition of chess pieces. Just a magnet. - More or less works with the Dojo app. - The game with bots is not available on chess.com. It is difficult to connect to chess.com because bluetooth is often disconnected. - The DGT Chess app is disgusting. The Offline game is not available. The search for an opponent on Lichess take...

does it work if you place the felt back on them with the aluminum foil trapped inside?

No, Chessnut Air equipped with individual piece recognition chips. Just a foil isn`t a case here. But you can purchase those chips set separately from them, to integrate into your own chess pieces.
cant the board destinguish between the figures? eg to see which figure you choose when you promote a pawn?
No, DGT Pegaus havn`t individual piece recognition. It can only recognize is there a piece at all or not.
Could you test it on the IOS system?

I had to reset to the factory settings twice by holding the button for 15 seconds because the board recognizing the software.
So its better to not recognize?
@@MujoNovak , the software app was updated it would appear to work better now with the board.
Very interesting to use your favourite wooden chess pieces with the pegasus. I was deciding if I was going to buy the DGT pegasus or SquareOff Pro, but from your videos I think I like pegasus best. Thank you for sharing your videos on youtube!

Здравствуйте! Выбирал себе шахматный компьютер, эта модель меня заинтересовала и как раз увидел Ваши видео о ней. Подскажите, пожалуйста. По состоянию на сегодняшний день ситуация не улучшилась? Возможно, обновления вышли, которые устранили проблемы? Может, от телефона зависит? Какой у Вас?
Добрый день. Если живёте в многоквартирном доме, то использовать ее можно, но не в рейтинговых играх. Множество соседних bluetooth девайсов ей мешают стабильно работать. Но вот на даче она меня порадовала. Когда одно соединение она работает хорошо. Вышло обновление dgt chess app версия 1.0. Стабильность соединения улучшилась. Но теперь подключиться к white pawn или dojo chess можно если включен GPS. Это не проблема, но батарея сводится быстрее. В общем можно брать. Но если хотите максимальную стабильность и уверенность, то лучше позвонить и взять dgt e-board bluetooth. Кстати у Pegasus есть проблема с батареей. Если заряд о 40% и меньше, то соединение или обучит или вообще не подключиться к телефону. Сама батарея тоже странно себя ведет... пока наблюдаю, но может у меня такая доска
@@asluchaninov Спасибо за развернутый ответ! Сложный выбор. Square off pro - прямого конкурента этой доски не рассмативали к покупке? Посмотрев Ваше видео о проблемах с DGT, теперь к ней как-то больше склоняться стал.
@@storm911lex5 square off pro ценник в Росси 50.000. А в штатах 220$.Узнавал у них почему в 2.5 раза дороже, улыбаются. Я не готов переплачивать. Узнавал в USA.by доставки её из штатов. Они покупают у официального дилера на адрес в США и потом авиа перевозка Ценник под ключ 23.000 за 7 дней, но естественно без возможности сдать если сломается.

После обновления официального приложения, ситуация с подключением улучшилась. В целом можно использовать, особенно с white pawn и dojo chess. И точно можете брать если живёте в сельской местности. В многоэтажке, когда видны соседние девайсы bluetooth доска ведет себя не стабильно. Играть можно, но не на рейтинг.

I just got the board, surprise it’s not working. I have only an iPhone, when o start a game on the dgt app and lichess, it’s just loading forever …

Thanks for sharing I am not buying one, I am using a regular dgt board with bluetooth and the acid ape chess app, works very well to play on lichess but expensive and the board is huge. It's much nicer to play with real wooden pieces. Seems a bit a ripoff plasticy stuff with buggy software.
In my opinion pegasus is a very small board. After few days of using pegasus, my opinion about it has changed for the better. I'll make one video about using it correctly. Dgt app has not worked until now, but chess.com and chess dojo works good 8/10. you need to get used to the board and understand it. And of course dgt e-board bluetooth much better than pegasus. Though if millennium Supreme 55 cut the wires and use a laptop bluetooth and battery, it would be the best product on the market.
Really? I own a DGT bluetooth & using Acid Ape Chess as well, and I actually think it's one of the most stable boards out there... I haven't had any issues. One thing I'd like to know is if there could be a way whereby one with a DGT board can play one with a Pro board using apps?
