*Purchased to add to my kayak for long distances ->**allmy.tips/Minn-Kota?36j ** It doesn't really make me go faster than if I paddled full speed, but saves me from getting tired when I use the kayak for going a long ways in to hunt. Not a bad motor. Weeds do tend to clog it up so I'd probably not recommend this if you're using it in a weedy lake/river.*
Sorry, I don't have this car since a few years, I cannot remember. However fuel consumption was really acceptable, especially comparing with new turbo petrol engines.
@@bmkoster24 actually That’s incorrect. I own a 2002 Volvo V40 1.8 with 122 hp and @100 km/h it does 2600 rpm. I fotographed it because my previous car had a very bad gearbox ratio for highway driving, so I wanted to compare rpm at different speeds
It was with launch control. I was waiting after pushing the brake and acceleration pedal, then release the brake. I did it several times. I don't know why there was no flag, but for sure it was with launch control, as I felt a big difference and some kind of "kick" form the start. It was 430i Gran Coupe.
No problems with 5-gear box. You can do that with most of petrol engines at similar power with no problems, but you need 5 gear box, because in this case 2nd gear is usual longer than in 6 gear boxes.
To be honest, nothing special, but not a gargabe bin;) Old, wooden, but much faster with this engine than most of new boats at comparable weight and dimensions.
5 gear - roughly 2 hours of continous use. 1 gear - max 10 hours, but normally I use 1 speed just to move slowly when I'm fishing at the same time. For small and medium size lakes this set it is perfect. But when you'd like to fish on bigger lakes with longer distances between fishing places (4-5 km or more) it won't be enough in my opinion. In such cases petrol engine is the one and only solution.
Unglaublich dumm.
Keine Sorge, nicht dein Auto :)

Not bad for a 2.0L 4 cylinder
3 liter 6 cylinder
@@Cursein nope the 430i is 2.0L 4cyl.

How much RPM do you have in the 5th gear @100kmh and 130kmh?
Sorry, I don't have this car since a few years, I cannot remember. However fuel consumption was really acceptable, especially comparing with new turbo petrol engines.
I have the same car, at 100 it does around 3000rpm and at 130 about 3600rpm

100km/h in second gear?!!

wow really? dont you burn the engine like that
Don't worry, revs were not even in red area.
is it a manual or automatic transmission? looks like manual
It is 5-gear manual transmission.

how much motor time do you get out of this motor+battery setup on decent speeds.
