The Science Commons Initiative is a non-profit collaboration aimed at increasing the public's access to and participation in the scientific process. We find, spotlight, and fund technological and other strategic infrastructure to help scientists and researchers solve some of the world's most pressing problems, with an emphasis on engaging the public. We seek to make long-lasting changes to the way science is produced and communicated so that it is more open, more democratic, and more optimized to benefit the public.

I would get the 22 Terabyte HD with a server rack of 102 HDs. 22 x 102 = 2.224 Petabytes.
It's interesting that I haven't noticed a drop in magnitude thru the Folding@home addition. Does it not dilute reward for non-folding CPIDs?

I hope Gridcoin adds DENIS@Home 2 whitelist it looks like they may ramp up eventually
Good idea I just hope significant # of users will continue to compute non-benefactor (traditional) projects so big-business number crunching does not overshadow the little guys that need free compute to do their science whereas benefactors will probably find a way if not community compute but this will be a great addition and bring overall awareness to BOINC and DC

With these contracts, it was mentioned that philanthropists and companies could participate. Unless they directly gain something they may Not participate. Is there any way they could charge this type of contract as a "donation" so they could declare it on their taxes?
