Great effort , can you share info on the flight cost and accommodation ? Also how far out you booked ? I’m trying to gather this info as I’ve got a number for next year . Cheers
@@callummcvarnock8085 Valencia airport is a destination for many of the low fare airliners. Would suggest to use skyscanner app not only to Valencia but to Alicante too as it is 1.5hrs drive from Valencia. For accomodation I would highly recommend to check off season beach side apartments nearby Valencia via bookingdotcom maybe. But those are my personal suggestions only. Hurry up with with registration to this evenet as entries sold out quite quickly.
Really enjoyed this video. It really captures the scenic beauty of the run but just how unbelievably tough it is. I was thinking about entering next year's race after doing my first marathon in London this year, but after watching this I think I need a few more races under my belt first!

I just won a sponsored entry to Chicago 2024 so I’m watching all of these videos! I’m surprised that runners can eat that much pizza just two days prior to running! The cheese would get to me! 🤢

I think every runner has his or her own routine in prep for the big day. Especially 1-2 days prior to the big event you need to be cautious of what you eat and when you eat. In this period you need to be super safe by making sure of avoiding any problematic food that can potentially ruin your race. For instance I did Tokyo Marathon where I really kept seafood post race. For me pizza is ok but to be quite frank with you I really wanted to taste this deep dish pizza that is such a typical food in Chicago. Congratulations on your entry into the 2024 Chicago Marathon! For sure you will have fun! Promise me you keep pizza after the race and not before! Congratulations on your 60 marathons... an amazing achivement. I've run 10 marathons so far and I'm going to Chicago and Valencia this year so can't wait to run those two amazing marathons. One question, do you remember the name of that Tapas restaurant? That breakfast/Lunch looked delicious.
