What are your opinions on speech therapy? My son is 4.5 years old. We tried in home therapy at 2.5 and he hated it. It would send him into meltdown and he would fall asleep from overwhelm. We cancelled therapy until he was 3.5 to see if that would help… we went to a clinic this time. He wanted to play but had no interest in the speech aspect of the therapy. So we left after a while doing that. We are now considering in home play based therapy for speech… but I’m scared it will overwhelm him.

"Kind hearted" be for so real. This autistic boy at my school hits me sometimes and is rude to me and acts like a crazy person and when i yell at him or hit him back he has a mental breakdown & you are far from kind hearted judging by how u speak.. I even got grmd by a 28 y/o who had a**m. And some 21 year old woman who has it harassed me online because I was "ablst".

And then he wanted to work on my song, but he started changing my song entirely, and I didn’t like what he was doing with the song even though he kept telling me it’s going to be a huge hit, and when I told him it just wasn’t my original vision, he just said good luck and refuses to give me the song files Yeah, real kindhearted

When do you started to speak? I mean how old you were

I have an autistic nephew (my mothers sisters grandson) living with me. Hes in his mid twenties and behaves like a manchild. He always creeps around the house and likes to operate out of view, mostly behind your back. He isolates himself to his room and that cuts mobility around the house for me quite alot to the point of going crazy. His mother didn't tell me about his autism until one of my cousins told me. All my patience has gone and energy used up because of his many kid like nuances and traits to the point i just want him gone. Hes been with me for nearly 2 years and its been the same since day dot. Im very angry at his parents for not having the courtesy of disclosing this very important detail. Im working on telling him hes overstayed his welcome. My advice on anyone about to board with an autistic person, be prepared to be dissappointed. And one other thing, he's a bit of dead weight as well. Thanks and nice video man.

Your rage is understandable. I’m autistic and have struggled with everything you speak of. Don’t give up, and don’t give in to rage or resentment. A person can endure unimaginable hardship if they find meaning in their suffering. You have overcome things most people cannot imagine, and you are reaching out, strong and defiant, in an effort to encourage other autistic people to stand up for themselves. Well done. Keep going. I wish I was never autistic to begin with and I wish I was born normal. Me and my brother had early intervention cause we were born a week early, we were different than our other siblings and cousins, we were sent to summer school, we had 1:1 supports, we were put into special education classes, I had speech problems, I can’t pay attention, I can’t understand the concept of anything, I can’t go hang out with friends, I can’t drive, I can’t count money, when my other siblings and cousins go out somewhere fun with their friends, me and my brother couldn’t go cause of our diagnosis of autism. When I was first diagnosed with autism, it was not normal, the doctors say I would never be able to function or graduate school, I was diagnosed first and then my brother was diagnosed second and it was not normal, I cried a lot, broke things, I can’t sleep at night, when I was little kid, I passed out and fell off the stool, my dad thought I had a seizure, my whole family sent me to the doctors, the doctors put the electrodes on my head for my brain activity cause they wanted to know what was wrong with me but I was fine, if I were born normal, I wouldn’t have this awful developmental disability and I wouldn’t have these issues, me and my brother had neurology appointments, in school, everyone treated me like a child, I can’t sing right, I can’t focus or memorize lyrics, I couldn’t make eye contact, I had weight issues, growth issues. If we were born normal, I would be born on January 19, 1998 and my brother, Tonio would be born on February 27, 2000, I will be the oldest of 10 siblings, I will be a singer, songwriter, musician and composer, I’ll have a recording studio and a recording studio microphone like Genavieve Linkowski, Genavieve, Corinn, Isaac, Jacob, Joshua, Amanda Jean, Grace, Abraham, Hadassah, Adeline and Enoch would be our cousins, Tamara and Craig would be our aunt and uncle, we would go get baptized as born-again Christians, I feel miserable and depressed everyday cause I wish I was never autistic to begin with, and I wish I was born normal.

I have great anger towards people who mistreat me for my autism.
