nice follow up, was thinking about a d1x or f1a-94 but that p1r looks mighty tempting. when are they talking about availability for the new blowers? also wondering aboutthe smaller gear case reliability with the bigger wheel on the p1r
Does the F1R-104 take less power to spin over the F1X?
How often do these blow up?

When will these be available? I currently have a D1 on my 4.6 DOHC Not going to go turbo due to very happy with my combo, but i want more than my D1 is delivering at the moment. The P1R will bolt in place of my D1?
The D-1X is probably what you want to go with. There's a 400-500whp difference between a D1 and a P-1R, it's probably not what you're looking for. The D1X can make 200whp more than a D1.
Tyler, Quite an Impressive video, both informative, and excellent production quality. Camera person did well to zoom in past the bystander with no notion of what was going on. Have fun in sincity, but not TOO much.! g²
That was my coworker thats pretty solid with knowing the crowd will walk right in front of ya. lol. Happens a lot at SEMA.
How does the P-1R differ from vs the D1-X what is LOUDER?
@@slyr1 haha I know what you mean! That really has more to do with the bypass valve setup you have. The P1SC and D1SC are the quietest, everything else can pretty pretty rowdy!
If I’m going to pay $10,000 plus for a system with a Mustang and I’m going down the street ain’t nobody gonna think that I’m stuck why would I wanna approach quietly when they know what to expect from a mustang that’s kind of stupid so you know something if I’m gonna pay that kind of money I want it and I wanna presence and I want them to get out of my way and I love hearing that sound that’s like what I’m paying for and enormous power

Can’t understand why they make quiet blowers with whole experience about driving a sports car is the sound feel
The gear box and sound would be the same, just depends on what gear set you pick (helical or straight) and how fast you are turning it (blower rpm) and what bypass valve you are using with it. (loud race valve or the quieter proflow unit)
I would love a pro charger for my 2018 Camaro but I can’t afford a hairdryer or a leaf blower will that work 😂😂Just messing with you 👊🏼
Two questions about the 103; When is it available, and will it match or be better than the F1A under the curve? If this new 103 is better than the F1A down low and better than the 94 up high (which at 1500HP it will be better than the 94) then omfg it will be a dream!
@@baby-sharkgto4902 my understanding is it should be a wild animal in all ranges under the F1X. Erik wouldn't really talk about specific numbers, I had the feeling they're still in the testing phase.
@ yeah I’m pretty excited about it. I’m ready to purchase it! In your other video Erik holds up the placard for the 103 and it has a lot of info on it including the “1500 HP” number. Thank you for the reply

It seemed to me there needed to be a bridge between the F194 and the F1X and I think the F1R-103 will do that! Hopefully I can get my hands on one!

I very recently went back to NA roots on my c6Z after having a D1sc for 2 years “870whp” and F1A94 “300 miles” Sleeve imploded LS7 problems…. This P1R sounds PERFECT. I can’t want to see graphs comparing power curves of these new blowers vs the F1A94 and F1X. The F1A94 in my experience lacked a lot of power under the curve vs the smaller counterparts. Looks like I’ll be purchasing a Dart Aluminum block sooner than expected…. Damnit lol
@@vanjabi8827 the F1A94 was designed to fit inside certain race class rules and as such it's kind of a "bandaid" solution to the airflow problems on the F1A. I think the P1R is going to be the perfect street blower for most setups based on the way they're talking about it at ProCharger. I'm very excited to see numbers!
Yeah I had an F1A for a few years and last month switched to the F1A94 and at first I thought something was wrong with it because it feels a lot less than the F1A under 5000 RPM. Granted after 5000 RPM with the F1A94 you had better be ready! I was researching if it was safe to over spin the F1A94 when I came across this video… maaaybe the F1R103 is what I need 🤔
Thats exactly why the P1R and F1R103 was needed. To not be held to the constraints the -94 was. Which is why you feel that "lul" under the curve. Cause it takes a LOT of RPM to get cfm rolling on that -94 wheel. The idea behind these newer blowers is big meaty midrange, and big HP while staying at or below the rated max revlimit

Curious myself about that. Is the D1-X still makes more power?
Straight from the engineering guys: the D1X was designed to certain rules, the P1R is more of a "max effort" build with little regard to rules. The P1R will make more max power on nearly every use case.
