We belong to life. We belong to the lives of others. We belong to the Whole. When this is our foundation, we are in Heaven even if we’re in the midst of temporal pain. Do the trees belong to the trees or are they a current, unique expression of the Miracle of Life? Can they help from sharing their beauty, the miracle of how they work with and for Nature? They belong to us and all of life just as we belong to them and all of life. And, even as they endure drought or heat, they too belong to the Interconnected Whole. Even as we persecte them through Climate Change, we also see their beauty. We accept their gifts of nuts or shade or whatever with gratitude. We love them. Therefore, they stand in beauty, in sharing and in love just as do we all. For this one, fleeting moment, I think got it. Thanks, as usual.

Blessed are those who hunger for justice doesn’t mean those people are feeling happy. It just means they are able to feel at all. Yeah. I’ll take that. Thanks as usual

Perfect! Yay!!! Nailed it. When I was young, a friend of mine married a Native American. She talked about how people would just show up at their house and she and her husband were expected to shelter and feed them as long as they wanted. I was shocked and didn’t understand AT ALL. Now it makes perfect sense. What if we really began to live like that (again?)? What if hierarchy became our history instead of our way of life? What if we began to live an egalitarian lifestyle instead of trying to be better than? It boggles my mind.

Yaaas! This! Thank you Pastor. I just saw some clips from this sermon. I left the ministry, church, and faith because it's become a dark force in this world. It's become a place of hatred and discrimination. UMTIL I saw this pastor. I'm not saying im returning to the faith. However, I do love listening to his sermon on where Christianity SHOULD BE. Putting together the lesson(s) from Sunday school and the sermon - we remain the River of Life, regardless of what happens in the world. Life constantly changes but we are to transition into love for all. Being fearful is not it. Loving is our path to the dance.

I’ve believed that my whole life but I’ve never been able to say it😊. Happy Easter, everyone.

Judas . We’re all betrayers at times, aren’t we? And we all give up at times, don’t we? But, yes. Even in death, in suicide, love goes on. And we all contribute to the wild things being betrayed so we can continue to live in greed beyond the earth’s ability to keep us supplied. We throw away food while children die of starvation in other places. Are we forgiven? We ‘know not what we do’. Are we loved? Yes. As a mother loves her child as she weeps for the path the child chooses we are loved. Are we forgiven? Have we asked? What a thought provoking, heart strings pulling story.

I had an additional thought. Yes, our oxygen is made by plants. But the movement of the atmosphere is caused by the rotation of the earth and then the changes in temperatures. I believe that cold air is drawn towards warm air. This could be called the whole planet breathing. Is Gaia alive and time for her is so different we cannot perceive it? Is the universe alive? Is the expansion and contraction of the universe a single breath? Wow. Idk 🤷🏼‍♀️. We are so tiny and yet a vital part of something so huge. Our breath connects us to the huge greater entity of life and love. Do you think?

Yes. Right you are (Well, left, actually but you are correct. Jesus was calling Judaism back to the law they had forgotten and we forgot it again. This is the year of Jubilee. None of us can own the land. We cannot patent food or seeds or music or water or air. If we claim to own those things we are stealing from YWHW. We share the use not only with other humans but with other non human beings like trees and plants and rocks and minerals. Let’s imagine how we could live if we actually LIVED what Jubilee called us to live. Let’s go about creating that reality. I’m with you. I’m ready.

We cannot be "pro-life" when we care more about property than about human beings. When we care more about one set of people over another set of people.
