[DEAD GAME] Critical Strike Portable in 2024 (Counter Strike 1.6 Rip off)
I used to play this game when I was a kid. It is a weird copycat of CS 1.6 but I really used to enjoy it back in the day. It was free and you could play directly on the web browser, no need to install the game.
I am playing against bots, simply because it is an offline version. Not sure if an online one still exists. You can't play on downloadable maps as they require an internet connection to work. There are five pre-installed maps, some of them are iconic, such as fy_pool, which I am playing right now.
There are three pre-installed game modes : classic (defuse), TDM and survival (an horrendous zombie mode to say the least). When this game was still active, you could install custom modes ...

Why rage bro ? Also, at some points it stutters because i go back to windows menu. No mod menu or anythin. Also I only recorded the end of the game and not the full, sorry about that

Just wanted to go back and play my favourite fps of all time. Still a lot of fun. But because of how long it's been since last time I played, i realize that it has a few downsides. Suppression is absolutely disgusting, people spam grenades and spend the all game crouching in the same spot Maybe it's because it's Metro 64 all weapons... I still did a great job though. I wish i was back in 2012 :(
This game was so good. I had it on PS3 and Xbox. It played better on the PS3 but I liked the Xbox controller better at the time. Why did we ever stop playing this?
This game was goated. The modding community the biggest it ever been tho 😭. Even tho they left it in like 2017

Hi man thanks for your comment. RDS + FOREGRIP + HEAVY BARREL HB is a must because it increases your accuracy at range, but foregrip is debatable. It is stated in the game that it reduces your accuracy at range but I don’t feel that at all. Anyways try it yourself ;)

This game can be played multiplayer , search "CS Metal" , it is a mod based on v2.68 with many new features

Feeling kinda weird that game was a part of my childhood 😅 And the fact that I've played all major versions of this game, from CSmini to Critical Strike Portable... These were times filled with joy though, that was funny, endlessly surviving with other players in Zombie Mode and also occasionally playing TDM. Doom 3 monsters there horrified me as a kid 😁 Nonetheless, although this exact rip-off and all its versions have 0 players, its legacy continues in another Counter-Strike rip-off from the same developer, called Brutal Strike.

I got banned because of vote ban initiated by this guy that got mad because I kept killing him, not by admins. I am not contesting it because I will move to Japan in a few weeks and will not be able to play, no point in playing bf3. Anyways, to answer your question, it does not make you faster, but it makes it more difficult for your foes to target you while maintaining your speed. But overall it is more like an habit, every time I see a ledge like that I vault this way because I think it is kinda cool
