Thank you. The yellow tones of the silver trumpet tree, or Tabebuia argentea, can be seen around Darwin, notably along the centre median strip on Trower Rd, near Casuarina Shopping Centre. Its characteristics are a cork-like trunk, silvery-green leaves and clusters of dazzling, bell-shaped flowers with frilly edges.

It's a great Market!
You need to do this at midday during the (working) week when the office drones come down from their highrises. The ungodly rush to get back to Palmerston at 4:30 is another highlight. On the plus side, there is virtually zero traffic after 6pm and life in a dormitory suburb can be blissfully quiet. Just try not to be here in January after the first big rains of the season deposit remote communities in Darwin. We have a new NT government now and they have promised to get tough on street crime - I guess we will find out soon enough.
Midday walking tour in Darwin during the build up...yeah it's not going to happen mate lol. Yes all jokes aside Darwin has some major issues but it's still a beautiful place and the people are great!
Used to live here 10 years ago, grew up in Durack, Its changed so much. Guess thats what happens with the newer cities. Always changing. Some of the areas that used to be open land are now built up.

We lived in Darwin for almost 2 decades and often regulars at the Palmy markets. Left about 5 years ago. I really love watching your videos, they're great cures for Darwin/NT homesickness, it's such an under rated place.

Do they have on the beach salt water croc 🐊 ?The sea water looks very clear at least guys you can enjoy balmy warm evenings and socialise with people outside restaurants 👍☀️🌴☕️🙏The villas between the palm trees a breathtaking 😮
Yes they do have crocs and box jellyfish, there are warning signs on the beaches so you enter at your own risk. It is not a high chance to be eaten but the risk is there!
Very interesting nature 😮 The coast of Namibia 🇳🇦 is more challenging as on the beach they have lions 🦁 and other dangerous African animals walking around

Is this particular area under Australian Military control ?
No but it has Military history from being bombed in WW2 and has a Military museum in the area. The old Military truck you see in the video is a tour that you can take when in Darwin.
