how do i follow you after g.d.e grace notes

I dont have bagpipes but something about hearing them and seeing people play them floods me with joy and I cant help but dancing. I have many instruments but none give me the joy of hearing it like this one does. even a simple scale. I was between Sitar and Bagpipes but now I'm definitely going to be getting a chanter, I didnt know practice "pipes" existed

What are the drone reeds and chanter reed?

Always loved the sound of pipes! Question: does a chanter have a reet (i know the drones do) like a clarinet that i have to vibrate by blowing correct? Or is this more like a basic carved recorder?

Thank you very much this information is so simple! I'm 19 and have just decided to take up the bagpipes after moving to Scotland! However, I have played the recorder in the past and always put my right hand at the bottom even though I'm right-handed and I assume I would do the same when playing a chanter would this matter?!
