    What’s that rag on her head

    • @PressPauseWithJo
      @PressPauseWithJo День назад

      @Tobyyy24 that "rag" is a hijab. The hijab refers to a variety of head coverings conventionally worn by many Muslim women as an expression of faith. It was an honor to supplement your vocabulary today. We hope your curiosity prevails so you continue to get educated.

    Alslam alikum wa rahmatu Allah wa brakatu My dear nople sisters may Allah bless you The correct and obligatory hijab includes covering the face with the whole body , and this is the hijab of the female companions and the mothers of the believers, After the revelation of the ayah of hijab in the Qur’an, the female companions responded to it by covering their faces immediately The jilbab is a thick, very wide fabric that is placed on top of the head and covers the entire body until it covers the feet and exceeds them in length it does not and must not reveal any part of the body or describe its size even the shoulders This means that it is not right to wear a blouse or jacket that describes the shape of the shoulder as a hijab which all do, also the hijab must not be adornment in itself, and if you browse pictures of Muslim women in all Islamic countries 100 years ago, you will find them all covering their faces. Women uncovered their faces after the western colonization and the secular rule, and you are all full of good insha'Allah and not less than the previous Muslim women to strive in obeying Allah and implementing His command May Allah grant you all success and happy life in this world and the hereafter Wish you the best The correct hijab according to the Qur’an| Muhammad tim humble: ruclips.net/video/xq15cmNFrpQ/видео.htmlsi=RD3ABLP_ejHlDDFC

    Yeah, if a freak is following you down a dark alley. But otherwise, the things that scare us most in life are sometimes our greatest challenges to be overcome. If it doesn’t scare you a bit, it’s not worth doing. The road less traveled..

    Despite his being the path of the intellect, Gautama the Buddha had to sit under/ beneath a tree for his eventual illumination (a Bodhi/Ashvattha/Peepal tree, perhaps on a full moon night) ie, there is NO spiritual progress without embracing Nature. It may be worthwhile to include a suitable tree conducive for spiritual growth as part of our team in our daily practice/routine: Sit upright with backbone/spine close to and aligned to the tree trunk (about 2-3 Inches apart) with head held high or torso, neck and head inclined backwards and in that posture pray/meditate/contemplate or just be and observe/feel/sense energy circulation at various centres/locations in the body. A tree may have a strong sattvic energy field around that may effortlessly transport human consciousness to higher planes or charge/infuse human energy system or gently make human chakra system more active/receptive for spiritual progress.

      It has nothing to do with years of hard work, the fact that she was part of building a wildly successful company from the ground up, and educating herself along the way that led to such a successful shift in her career. (Note the excessively heavy sarcasm.) 🎙

    Your podcast is good, but it could benefit from giving Eliza more time to speak. Try to ask more questions and let them share their insights and experiences. This approach not only makes for a more dynamic conversation but also helps your audience learn more about the guests you're interviewing. 😅

    • @PressPauseWithJo
      @PressPauseWithJo 3 месяца назад

      Thank you for your feedback. 🫶🏽 The vibe and intention of the podcast is a conversation between friends where stories and feelings are exchanged between Jouhayna and the guest. Of course, every guest is unique. Specifically, with Eliza, she has a fear of public speaking, which is mentioned in the episode. She is doing very well at overcoming it by coming on the show as one of the ways to overcome her fear head-on, and we are SO proud of her for it! One of the ways to ease her nerves is for Jouhayna to share more than she would, and after the shoot, Eliza actually thanked Jouhayna for sharing as much as she did, as one of her worries was that it would only be her speaking the whole time, so it was all intentional so thank you for noticing! You will see in the upcoming episode with Eliza, which comes out this Friday and was shot after this segment, that this tactic to ease her nerves worked as she opens up more and shares more. We hope you enjoyed listening to both sides. 🫶🏽 🎙
