Back when Britain had actual culture, and a sense of community.
My dad Fred Dean was a butcher on lovat Road, corner of Albert Road in the 50's. Remember Harold and Nan Travis, Mr and mrs Goldsmith. Marjorie Howarty, Cath Goldsmith. So many memories.
Thanks for uploading this. I was a regular in the George about the time this was filmed and I recognize Tony and Debbie. I had no idea the place was haunted, and don't recall any strange happenings. Tony probably kept it quiet so not to scare customers. 👍
I bet you sampled a few spirits!
Migration Road.
34:09 / well this womans certainly piling it on the taxpayers !!
My aunty Christine lived on Lovat Road and I'm sure the traffic calming happened after my cousin Janet was run over there. Poor feller was devastated but Janet was a mess for years. What I used to love about that street was everyone who met me asked who I was and when I said Christine's nephew all was grand. Proper Proud Prestonians there, love them.
Lived on Kent street in the mid 80’s. Some good times round there cha !
Alot more colourful now
Never knew they tried to do a rip off of Corrie 😂🤣 I remember getting barred from that Spar shop lol
Its all students round most these now I remember Annaliese and Dave from 66 and then the guys from newsagents and off licence
Thank you Dave for mentioning this on the Allan Beswick Late Night Phone-In last Sunday 👍🏼
Feel like its all students living in them now

its changed so much but I want to move back there to where I used to live
Thankyou so much for this. Brought back memories
This takes me back, my Mother lived in Kenmure Place and she often sent me to the newsagents and the bakery shop whenever I visited. Lynn at the fancy dress hire shop is my cousin. Her and her husband ran both businesses very successfully for a number of years. It would be nice to think the area still has the same community spirit but I suspect it's not quite the same now.
im afraid most of the business have shut down but people are still nice
