This video shows the types of questions which may be on your online Hazard Perception Test. There are a few practice questions available on VicRoads as well.
Slow down when:
- slow when tram lights turn on.
- slow when the car in front's rear lights turn on.
- slow if you see a car that might enter from a side lane
- slow if someone in front of you indicates.
- slow when you come to a speed reduction sign, are turning a corner, or approaching a bridge.
If turning right:
- wait until no cars coming (or there is a safe distance) even if they are indicating.
Other:
- keep an eye out for cyclists and pedestrians
- do no over take when turning a corner or if it is not safe.
